Give the redskins a CB

01-01-2008, 11:39 AM
the jaguars do not need a hybrid olb/de....if you're going to give us a DE...that particular DE needs to be able to rush the passer and stop the run....not just one of the two...

ok phins pick

Raiders will pick either 3rd or 4th, so they can't be at 5th obviously. On to the pick of Jake Long, bad pick for Oakland, Defensive line is a way more pressing issue at this point and I don't expect the offensive line to be addressed until round 4 or later.

This is another good mock. At this time (4 months before the draft) the way your draft unfolds I bet Houston would take Stewart...but if Stewat runs slow at the combine he will drop right out of the first round...so who knows. I haven't been hearing good things about Sweed. He might fall out of round 1 also. But I think this was very well done.

Matthew Jones

Awesome value for New England.

Carolina doesn't need a QB. They have Delhomme coming back from injury, they have a rookie QB who posted a rating of over 85 in 3 starts, and they have a third guy they like a lot. At most, they'll sign a veteran to pick up the slack if Delhomme isn't ready to start the season.

They do have needs at OT, DE, DT, OG, RB, and WR.

please tell me KC's pick is a joke?no chance in hell we pass on Jake Long for Matt Ryan plus Herm has already stated Brodie is the guy in '08

01-01-2008, 06:33 PM
Vernon Gholston does not make it out of the top 6... and the Jets do not need another ILB

01-01-2008, 06:37 PM
Awesome Falcons pick.

That trade would make absolutely no sense for the Saints. Jenkins is likely to be on the board at #10. Even if not, Kenny Phillips would still be on the board and that would be a solid choice for the Saints if Jenkins is somehow off teh board.

you obviously didnt put much research into this.
