I have heard of KC possibly moving Brian Waters to C and if that happens Duke Robinson would be a possibility here

Carolina doesn't need a QB. They have Delhomme coming back from injury, they have a rookie QB who posted a rating of over 85 in 3 starts, and they have a third guy they like a lot. At most, they'll sign a veteran to pick up the slack if Delhomme isn't ready to start the season.

I love those 2 prospects, Campbell may turn out to be the best DL from this draft and Doucet is my favorite WR of this class. However I think we definitely need to go CB in 1 of the 1st 2 rds.

Good Oakland picks.
Decoud is a FS.
Okam in the 1st?doesnt make much sense.

I would say pretty good two rounder, would take Jordy Nelson over Bennett and Manningham but what can i say.

Ya I hate it, our biggest need is a CB so we can move Rolle to FS and Green back to NB, you didn't give us one in either round, plus Mendenhall is overrated, if you are gonna give us a RB make it the man in my sig (Jonathan Stewart)

Give us Cason or Jenkins in the 1st and Henderson would be fine in the 2nd as long as he can play 3-4 OLB which I believe he has

<3 brennan

would prefer a WR in the first, is smith a good cover 2 guy?

desean jackson and cliff avril are you nuts!?!?!?!

WR is definitely a position the skins could look at but no chance we take jackson. he is nothing more than an unproven version of santana moss and randle el. the redskins will look to bring in a wr this offseason but probably not round 1 and when they do it will be a possession/redzone target.

as for avril he is barely a 3rd rounder and the guy only weighs 250 lbs. theres no chance we draft him in the second. he wouldnt fit at lber or de in greg williams system. terrible terrible pick.

I think the eagles are set at LB, give us some DB help. As for the 2nd it might be good value but I'd prefer a WR that could double as a return man.

Give Buffalo Malcolm Jenkins in the 1st, and Limas Sweed in the 2nd.

DT is not as big of a need as CB, and LB.

Nice first round pick for the Jets, but Jeff Otah would be better for us in the second round.

Why do I keep seeing this draft order? It's wrong. It's not possible for the Packers to pick earlier than 29th.

Odds Carolina takes a safety and a QB in the first two rounds: Zero.

Odds Carolina passes through the first two rounds without taking either an OT or a DE: Zero.

that would be a f***ing great draft for the bears...but otah in round 2? i mean, id love for that to happen but i really really don't think its going to

I don't like any of these QB's so I'd like Mendenhall in the 1st to the Bears but that would be a great draft even with Woodson.

Reggie Smith = No: He doesn't fit our system and we have other needs, as well as we don't draft CBs in round 1.

Brennan = Yes

Why does everyone assume that Delhomme will be effective next season? How many quarterbacks have had Tommy John surgery and came back just as effective? Not to mention Jake isn't a spring chicken. The rookie you speak of has only proven he has the ability to be a adequate backup, nothing more. Sorry. There is no veteran qb that will be available better than Ryan, so why no pick him. Change the second pick to Otah and I give it an A+

Ali Highsmith to the Jets makes no sense, first pick is awesome though.

While I like Adibi, the Chargers do not need a LB. He is also very undersized for any LB position in the 3-4 scheme.

I absolutely hate it for the Vikings.

yo123
01-01-2008, 10:06 PM
CB really isnt a need for the Vikes, sure our secondary sucks but its safety help that we really need, Cedric Griffin and Marcus McCaulley have both shown promise and should both be solid cornerbacks even if Winfield doesnt stay for much longer. I could see us go with Reggie Smith there, some other options are a pass rusher like Derrick Harvey or Chris Ellis, or a right tackle like Gosder Cherilous.

idk about the 2nd round pick. I dont know a whole lot about Flacco but I if we do end up taking a QB, I dont see it being another small school guy. I do think that Jackson has earned another year anyway. James Hardy, Fred Davis, or Chris Ellis would be better picks.

Titans get Earl Bennett and Fred Davis in the first two rounds? No flames at all from me :)

Vikes99ej
01-01-2008, 10:37 PM
I hate it. Not really, but neither of the Vikings picks impress me at all. I don't want another developmental project at QB, and we have much, much bigger needs on defense than CB, such as a reliable pass rusher.

01-01-2008, 10:46 PM
Not bad. Jackson in the second is good but considering you didnt give us an interior DL in the first we cant afford to wait much longer to fill that important need so since Balmer is the best available Id opt for him. Thats what happens I guess when you take a luxury player like McFadden.

Give the Phins James Hardy instead of Decoud and that would be a pretty nice draft.

Brohm > McFadden are you kidding me? I like Brohm as much as the next guy, but man alive, over McFadden that's just crazy. Give us McFadden in round 1, Jeff Otah and Fred Davis in round 2

Are You Serious... The Jets Drafting 2 Lbs Without Trading For More Picks Is About As Likely As Getting Struck By Lightning....twice

Good First Pick 2nd May Be The Worst I've Seen On This Website

Chargers won't take a LB in the 1st and probably won't even take one in the late rounds either unless someone falls. LB is probably the deepest position on the team. Look for an O-line guy on the right side or a possible trade out.

Did I miss something? Delhomme can't stay healthy as he only gets older, Matt Moore is an undrafted free agent who hasn't shown anything special but at least didn't completely stink up the joint like David Carr, who is a complete waste of space that the team has zero confidence in. The Panthers don't need a quarterback? Maybe they don't need to get back to the playoffs then.

I hate it and love it. For GB, the first round pick of Tyson Jackson is just odd, particularly as I haven't seen that he's coming out. GB does not need a 290 pound DE with only one sack against Middle Tennessee State this year. He was 2nd team SEC last year, but, that's not exactly the type of credential that makes you a first rounder.

Charles Godfrey in the second round would be a steal to me, as a good combine would make him enticing in the first round, at least if I were the GM...

Yes to Quentin groves....

Heck no to Mario Manningham. I'd rather see Adarius Bowman, James Hardy, or Limas Sweed.
