Rank them with regards to who you would most like for the Lions at each position.

OT
It's really going to depend on how our new OC sees our offense developing. If he is going to emphasize the run then this would be my list:
Long - Very solid run blocker but will never be a star as a pass blocker
Otah - tremendous upside in the Pace, Ogden mold but very raw right now
Clady - Nothing fancy but solid
Oher - excellent run blocker but has character issues
Loadholt - a huge question mark right now but the Senior bowl workouts, the combine and pro day will tell us more
Cherilus - strictly a RT, good run blocker
Williams - good pass blocker but will have to get bigger to run block, would be ranked higher for a pass 1st team
Sam Baker - Every year somebody seems to drop and Baker seems to be that guy this year. I'm not exactly sure why except he's a bit smaller maybe only 6'3" which is short for an OT but I won't know for sure until they check his height at the combine. May have to switch to OG in the pros.

DE's for a Cover 2 team
Gholston - before it is all said and done could go #1 in the draft. Excellent pass rusher for a Cover 2 team or as a 3-4 OLB
Chris Long - will be drafted early by a 4-3 non Cover 2 team, or later by a 3-4 team. The DE position is much more important in a basic 4-3 defense. He's too big for a Cover 2 defense and not fast enough
Calais Campbell - Ideal for a basic 4-3 team. Much less appeal for a Cover 2 team. Could play for a 3-4 team. Just too big for a Cover 2 team.
Derrick Harvey - Excellent DE for a Cover 2 team or as an OLB in a 3-4
Quentin Groves - see Harvey but production doesn't match abilities

ILB's
Laurinaitis - very good prospect who would be very effective in a Cover 2. Not sure how effective he would be in a 3-4.
Rey Maualuga - I think he is the second coming of Junior Seau and if he declares it will be interesting to see if he or Laurinaitis goes 1st. I think he would really suit a 3-4 defense but if he times well at the combine could definitely play in a Cover 2.
Jonathan Goff - good prospect but not anywhere near as good as the above 2. I suspect his speed won't make him effective in a Cover 2.

OLB's
Keith Rivers - top flight WLB who can play in any 4-3 defense. Not suited for a 3-4 defense
Dan Connor - solid SLB but as a prospect and without the combine, he looks to be behind everybody but Goff. Doesn't have the top end abilities of the others but more talented than Goff. Still a 1st rounder though.

Malcolm Jenkins - a true shutdown CB but will need time as he is only a junior. best suited for a basic 4-3 or 3-4 defenses which must have shutdown CB's. Would be a bit wasted in a Cover 2 defense playing zone 90% of the time.
Mike Jenkins - a shade below Malcolm as a prospect, not quite as fast but still a shutdown CB. Again a bit wasted in a Cover 2 defense.
Tracey Porter - very fast and rising on draft boards as a shutdown CB. Better suited for a basic 4-3 or 3-4 defense.
Leodis McKelvin - another fast riser who could be a shutdown CB. Iffy in a Cover 2 but could probably get by.
Aqib Talib - solid Cover 2 type CB. Solid tackler but not as fast as those above. Doubtful as a shutdown CB.
Antoine Cason - probably can only play for a Cover 2 team. Too slow to ever be a shutdown CB.
Terrell Thomas - jury is up and down on this guy. Probably can play in all systems, may surprise as a pro.

QB
Matt Ryan - Has talent but nothing except smarts and poise is really outstanding. Average pro arm which has led to a few more interceptions than you like to see in a prospect.
Brian Brohm - Best arm of the 3 but there are questions about his leadership.
Woodson. - I like him the best but that is just me, I really like the way he buys time in the pocket with his feet and stands tall against a pass rush. His arm and technique aren't great and he might need some time but I like him and think he will surprise as a pro.
