Reason #34 of why you don't put photos of drugs on your facebook...

Well, I guess it's a good thing being intelligent isn't a neccessary trait for football? Not saying all football players are dumb, obviously, but this guy seems a little lacking in the IQ area. WTF? Why? ..just.. why post.. a picture.. of a BUNCH of cash.. and possibly drugs..? I MUST KNOW WHY!

Especially coming from that program. Mike Vick and DeAngelo Hall haven't exactly done future Hokie prospects any favors this year and you can bet they will be more scrutinized than others.

I think that I just heard Flowers stock come crashing down to Earth...

Even if his story is true, just posting that picture is a MAJOR lapse of judgement.

So much for that 2nd round grade he recieved.

So can we assume that he's got enough sense to go back for his senior year after this, or does the fact that he posted that picture mean that we can't assume that he has ANY sense?

He better stay now, that is if he's still on the team.

What I have always wondered is when they give a grade for a playing. Is it solely on their 'on the field' production' or does it take into account off field issues also?

I think some of you guys are overreacting. He isnt dealing or hustlin, and he didnt take the picture he got it off his friends facebook. Even though those were just he excuses and he isnt the most believable guy right now.

The thing that concerns me is how he wants to look like a thug. Even if he is a poser thug which he probably is, that isnt the best attitude for a player you would select in the 2nd round.

The only thing missing from that pic was a bottle of Guinness.

That is exactly what I would say if I did that. There has to be something in the water at VT.

both, a team will not invest a high draft pick and a high amount of money towards a player who can be kicked out of the league for a year. Teams learned from what happened to Pacman Jones.

I don't even see what the big deal is...none of that was his, right? Yep..

Even if it's not his, it raises serious questions about his character and the people he surrounds himself with. Nobody will want to take a risk on a player who can't seem to seperate himself from negative friends. Case in point: Pac-Man Jones

I think in todays culture in the league he probably just eliminated about half the teams that may have thought of drafting him, so in that sense it is a big deal.

What round do you think he's going to fall in? I'm thinking late 3rd or early to mid 4th?

Mid-Late 2nd, maybe early 3rd. Physical corners are hard to come by even if they sling the occasional crack rock.

Hey man like biggie said, either you're slinging crack rock or you got a wicked jump shot....or in our boy's case, either you're an extremely talented CB who should have been draft in the first two rounds of the nfl draft or you're an idiot..my flow isn't as good as biggie's but i get my general point across

I do these guys even get in Virignia Tech? That school must really lower their academic standards for football players, because it is a very very good school.

I think he already hired an agent so he going to the NFL for sure now.

If this becomes a gigantic issue and has some validity to it that NFL teams find out about, I wouldn't be stunned if he completely fell off the board for some teams. That said, a guy like Tarell Brown got picked last year, so I'd imagine that some team would gamble on him at some point.

Now, if everything comes out okay for him, then he probably ends up as a 2nd/3rd rounder.

I really don't get kids today. They are so monumentally self absorbed they can't even see when they are irreparably hurting themselves. It is all about stepping out and puffing themselves up. Sad.
