Did you know.. that every player selected in the 2007 NFL draft by the NY Giants played in last weekends playoff game for the Giants.

that's 8 for 8 in drafting players who not only made the team, but participate and contribute to the team.

Do the Lions have 8 players whom they drafted contibuting.. period ?

1 20 (20) Aaron Ross CB Texas
2 19 (51) Steve Smith WR USC
3 17 (81) Jay Alford DT Penn State
4 17 (116) Zak DeOssie OLB Brown
5 16 (153) Kevin Boss TE Western Oregon
6 15 (189) Adam Koets T Oregon State
7 14 (224) Michael Johnson S Arizona
7* 40 (250) Ahmad Bradshaw RB Marshall (supplemental)

Did Koets play? Didn't see him out there. But you are right, the draft and even some UDFA had impact on the giants this year.

I will say this, I was very surprised that he found a diamond in the rough with Gerald Alexander. I laughed my ass off during the draft with that pick, but he played as one of the best players in the Lions secondary this year.

That's really not saying much considering he had to start next to Kenoy Kennedy and the Lions best corner was an inconsistent veteran who got injured every single game.

I think that Kenoy played fairly well this season, Alexander did play good.
