View Full Version : Scott: Where do you get your player stats?

Pretty insignificant, really. But I was looking at cfbstats.com's statlines and they're sometimes different than yours.

Example: Phillip Merling Scott's stats: 13 games - 78 tackles - 17.0 TFL - 7.0 sacks

CFB's stats: 13 games - 57 total tackles (36 solo) - 16.0 TFL - 7 sacks


I assume tackles still aren't an officially kept stat. Or, at least, not one that is given much effort to keep accurate. But how is it that there tends to be such a varying record from one site to the next?

Are you 100% sure you looked at the same year?

I'm not sure where Scott primarily goes, hopefully he can answer that for ya, but I know for some hard to find statistics, he will go wherever he needs to to get them.

Yeah, some small school/lower D1 Schools can be hard to find.

I think he gets them on the schools athletic website.

Not all schools have them i dont think
