What are your thoughts about him? He certainly surprised me by leaving as a reshirt sophmore, I felt had he stayed and been the primary target he could of been a first rd pick easily...He has great size and hands, with good speed, not the biggest guy so I dont think he could be a great blocker but I think he can be the best te from this class and has such a high ceiling, scouts could fall in love with his potential...I had him rated higher then Bennett, and I think people are going to fall in love after his workouts, im thinking 3rd round

any thoughts or projections on where he is drafted?

im a big fan of jermichael finley and if he is solid in his workouts and combine i think he will be drafted in the range of the 2nd-4th round

He and Martellus Bennett are my top two TE's, I'm predicting an excellent combine that will make him a 2nd-3rd rounder, very surprised that he came out this early, must of heard something good

My #3 TE behind Rucker and Bennett. Maybe mid-late 2nd round.

His workouts are critical. I think a lot of people love the immense potential, but just question how ready he is to make an impact. I think he's behind Bennett/Davis at the top (both Bennett/Davis are probably late first-2nd rounders). As of now, he's probably in the 2nd tier with John Carlson. I'd say both are probably mid-2nd to mid-3rd's right now. I think guys like Rucker/Keller/Tamme are probably in that 3rd tier, say mid-3rd to mid-4th. I think the big sleeper is Brad Cottam as everyone wants to see how well he works out and what his body is like at said workouts. But the rumored size/athleticism quotient is quite intriguing and he could sneak into the 3rd perhaps.

Cottam is huge. If he can stay healthy he'll be a solid player
