NFL Logo Change

I read on Sportsenter.com that the NFL will be changing their logo in the offseason.
Here's a comparison of both logos:
OLD:

The eight stars are for each division and the Football on the new one is supposed to symbolize the Lombardi Trophy.

Its not a big one but it is a change

It is a small change, but a bolder, simpler logo. Good stuff.

i was expecting this to be a joke thread with some anti-pacman like thing in it.

Pretty sure that they announced this last year or sometime over the summer. I could be wrong, but it just seems like i've seen this before. Who knows

I think it'd be awesome if the stars were colored--- one side a blue that stands out against the logo, and the other four red.

To make the division symbolizing more clear.

I like the old font better... but i like the new logo overall better... it has very little meaning to me though.. its a logo...
