System Help

Ok i have posted this quest ion a couple times in the PS3 thread and have not been able to get any answers, So if anyone could help me out there i would give + Rep and i would be extremly thankful!

Im Tired of having to manually name all teh players in NCAA Football 08 and College Hoops 2K8. I had done it however my system had a bug and i had to send it back to sony and i really dont want to do them all over again!

K so i have both the files and then i did it step for step like it instructed, but it didnt show up on my sys tem at all. So has anyone done this succefully or know how to do it?

Here is what i did. By the way i have an 80gig system... does that make a difference or no?

i made the PS3 folder, i made the SAVEDDATA folder and then unzipped my roster file and put it into the SAVEDDATA file. I did the same for my College hoops 2K8. But when i put the USB memory stick into the PS3 it doesnt read that there is any data on it.

Did you try redownloading the data onto the USB stick? Its possible that the data is corrupted and the system won't recognize it.

Well i have to unzip the file so i cant download it straight onto the USB Stick. It is possible but the place i got it form had a lot of succefull reviews and my system wont read either data on both games .. and i got em from different places.

Well i was using a different site for the rosters for Football .. but i found the one that P-L used and when i get my system back ill try that.. caus ei mean it worked for them.

As for college hoops.. i used this site

Go here, download the rosters. I didn't use this site but I am assuming it works. Plug your USB stick in, go to open folders then before clicking anything else place your "PS3" folder in there, in that should be a "SAVEDATA" then another folder something like "BLUS30039-ROSTER" (which will vary) then in there you have the actual data. If those folders don't exist create them. Now, take out the USB stick, and double check to make sure the PS3 folder is the very first folder you see when you open your documents or else the PS3 won't read it, followed by the other folders. Now plug it into your PS3 and go to savedata in the games section then find the UDS drive and click it, followed by triangle then copy. After it copies you should have the rosters.

That's exactly how I did it and it worked.

I dont know how they do things anymore but I used to use PSX Rosters, might try that site? It used to be free, I don't know if it still is.

They ask for a donation of $3 or something and you either buy the memory card or send it away to get it put on
