This Lions mock does little to excite me.

Williams is not a top 15 talent. The Lions won't reach for the 4th best OT in the draft when they have equal or greater needs at many defensive positions. Harvey, Talib, or even a RB would be more likely.

Thomas . . . eh, not a big fan.

Slaton is an OK third rounder, but I would prefer a guy like Jon Goff, who you have going several picks later. Lions need defense, defense, defense. One out of three isn't enough.

01-28-2008, 04:43 PM
Why do the Patriots have the Bears 2nd?

01-28-2008, 04:45 PM
i got the order from the lastest draft order here

01-28-2008, 04:48 PM
I hate the Packers draft. DRC or Dan Connor would both work at 30. Justin King is so highly overrated its ridiculous, would rather have Crable or Godfrey in place of him and Chris Johnson is nice but not really a need after Ryan Grant emerged and we spent a second on Brandon Jackson last year.

01-28-2008, 04:48 PM
ummm no on the rams, you have the second rounder right but nicks isnt worht it there, id rather have ellis or gholston than dorsey, the third isnt bad but id rather have devin thomas than douglas

01-28-2008, 04:54 PM
justin king is not overrated.... he has vision n speed... and his vert is nice.... u will see come combine day.... and fred davis is a excellent pik for them to add more fire power to favre... hes a proven TE

01-28-2008, 04:55 PM
nicks has the strength to hold the powerful DL rams face every sunday.... and douglas is a speedy WR who can compliment bulgers deep bombs....

01-28-2008, 05:01 PM
You must hate the Falcons

01-28-2008, 05:03 PM
good Oakland draft.

01-28-2008, 05:08 PM
Ok for the Dolphins. I'm down the the picks of Chris Long and Gosder Cherilus. Hit both lines with big physical players which Tuna will love.

I would much rather have Justin King over Porter. Much more upside and a better fit for us IMO. I'd also rather take a thumper in the middle like Jerod Mayo or Jon Goff to help replace Zach Thomas and help clog our leaky run D.

01-28-2008, 05:09 PM
You struck out for the Packers, 0-3. Tight End isn't a first round need, Justin King can't play in our defense, and DT is our deepest position.

01-28-2008, 05:17 PM
balmer not a fan

01-28-2008, 05:18 PM
how do i hate the falcons!?! 1st they get matt ryan who gives them theyre franchise QB WHICH YOU GUYS NEED!!! 2nd tony hills is a excellent LT who can play LT or RT and be your next top blocker.. Jammal Charles is a excellent RB who gives the offensive a explosive push and spark they need. warrick dunn is old and norwood cant handle the load himself... Jerod Mayo is a excellent ILB who can replace the aging n slowed down KEITH BROOKING..... all these picks should turn this mess around quik....

01-28-2008, 05:49 PM
Bad draft for the Pats.

I'm still not sold that Rivers could be effective in a 3-4 defense. I would prefer Leodis Mckelvin or Derrick Harvey at #7.

Instead of Crable and Schuening, I would prefer ILB Goff and RB Smith..

And where is Pats 3rd round pick?

01-28-2008, 06:10 PM
Balmer doesn't fill a need. He is too tall and not heavy enough to play NT and the Chargers have good depth at DE. Cherilus, Rodgers-Cromartie or Reggie Smith would be much better picks.

01-28-2008, 06:10 PM
we have enough small, fast receivers.
this would be better...

1.) Malcolm Kelly
2.) Philip Wheeler
3.) Charles Godfrey
3.) Pat Sims

if that happened, hopefully Jermichael Finley falls to us in the 4th.

01-28-2008, 06:13 PM
You failed to address the Cardinals biggest need in a CB, While Stewart is good Edge is only 29 and still has a few year left in him, give us Antonio Cromartie-Rodgers or Derrick Harvey there, in the 2nd Ellis isn't of great value and we always pick BPA so if we don't take a CB in the 1st King would be the pick and in the 3rd we have no need for Adams, Wilson is the best SS in the league and he Adams in unable to play a FS role, Chris Johnson or Anthony Collins would work there

01-28-2008, 06:24 PM
Not a bad Philly draft but CB is a greater need than LB

The Legend
01-28-2008, 06:25 PM
i hate the packers draft, Chris Johnson would be a love to have but whats the need for him i guess

01-28-2008, 06:29 PM
Sedrick Ellis is not a LB

01-28-2008, 06:32 PM
good Browns draft, we desperately need defensive front 7 help

01-28-2008, 06:39 PM
how do i hate the falcons!?! 1...Matt Ryan is HUGELY overrated and you passed on some much better prospects for the Falcons, namely Ellis, Long, followed by McFadden.

2...Tony Hills is going to play in a ZBS offensive line, if you didn't notice, Atlanta doesn't run that...and he may very well not be able to play LT.

3...Charles is a good player, we need a wrecking ball every down back, we have a HUGE homerun threat in Norwood.

4...Mayo is fine...but in the 3rd round we could be looking elsewhere...I would hope that Wheeler would be there for us in the 3rd but he may not be.

01-28-2008, 08:11 PM
very good giants draft

01-28-2008, 08:54 PM
not bad for the vikes but i think they would take a shot with woodson if he falls that far in the third

01-28-2008, 09:18 PM
Good Denver picks.

01-29-2008, 07:59 AM
jordy to the skins.

i <3 you. seriously.

01-29-2008, 09:30 AM
No way Pittsburgh drafts Sam Baker! The Steelers tend to draft road-graders at OT. They seem to prefer guys like Jeff Otah. I think Baker ends up in Denver. He is a good fit for Denver's scheme. Plus, didn't Matt Lepsis just retire?

01-29-2008, 10:10 AM
The Dolphins Mock is ok. Chris Long's a beast but Jason Taylor is a stud and Matt Roth is coming along. Gosder is ok and could bloom into a nice lineman. I really like Tracy Porter and the secondary needs help. Dexter Jackson though is way too high. He's quick and pesky but He'll have a tough time getting off the line, besides Ted Ginn is our slot receiver/ return man.

01-29-2008, 10:13 AM
Sedrick Ellis is not a LB

He could be a nice run stuffer in the 3-4. lol

01-29-2008, 12:15 PM
i like the bills draft except for the Desean Jackson pick...

he is the same type WR the bills already have in Evans and Roscoe...we need a big threat over the middle/red zone target WR...
