I don't like any of the Ravens picks. The only DE/OLB I'd want the ravens to draft is Moses, simply because of his raw talent and potential. Woodley is Dan Cody, minus two years into the transition to OLB and NFL strength training. He would be nothing more than depth for at least two seasons, probably more with Cody ahead of him. The Ravens will not take a QB in the 1st three rounds unless he is great value as the Boller expirament is not over, certainly they won't reach for a guy. Lastly, there has to be a RB in there somwhere. We cannot go into '07 with Mike Anderson, PJ Daniels and a day 2 pick at RB. If I were making the picks there, they would go Moses, McDonald, Dwayne Wright.

I had Woodley figured as a DE. He is an aweful lot like Suggs. Both about the same size, both can get to the QB. Pryce will be in his 11th season next year. He would also be an option to replace Thomas if he leaves via free agency. Woodley and Cody would be plugged in at DE and OLB, which ever best suits the defense. This is of course if Thomas leaves, which is highly likely due to the cap dollars available by alot of teams this of season. As far as the Boller experiment, if it's not over they are just completely in denial. Trent Edwards is certainly not a reach there. Marshall Yanda can play OG or RT. If Pashos leaves, they are very thin at OT. They would have an aging Jon Ogden at LT, and Adam Terry at RT, and not much beyond there. With Chester being able to move to center, Yanda could step in at OG and immediatly upgrade the offensive line as a unit, along with creating some flexibility and depth. You are right they need a RB, but I feel they will make a play in free agency, possibly Dominic Rhodes, if not RB in round 4. There are still alot of good prospects left.

Whether or not the Bengals take Hall depends on his 40 a lot (IMO of course) because Keiwan Ratliff is a pretty decent cover CB but he's just too slow to succeed in our defense.

In that spot I'd rather see Timmons in the 1st (not a need but BPA) and either McCauley/Wade/Bennett in the 2nd.

Olsen isn't what we need out of our TE's, we have plenty of players that can catch the ball, we just need blocking to give them time to get open. Reggie Kelly will likely be retained.

Damn, I cant believe someone is still giving the Dolphins Landry even after Saban is gone. Listen guys, The Dolphins are set at safety. They signed Renaldo Hill last season and he played well. Yeremiah Bell was our best defensive player not named Thomas or Taylor and on top of thta we have last year's 1st rounder Jason Allen waiting in the wings. The Dolphins don't need a safety, we have too many other needs.

I don't think it's possible to have too many offensive weapons. The way Palmer spreads the ball around with a legitimate recieving TE along with Johnson, Housyomama, and Henry (pending legal matters), the Bengals offense would be literally un-defenseable. If Olsen is available that late in the 2nd, the Bengals would be fools not to grab him. Marvin Lewis was quoted "As an organization, it is our number one priority to continue to surround our francise QB Carson Palmer with as many weapons as possible."

Never heard of those safety's you mentioned, and from what I hear Allen is more than likely moving to CB.

Damn Solid Vikings draft.
I would've liked to have seen a RT prospect in the 3rd...or a DT.
But CB will be a need once we trade or dump Smoot.

Overall , well thought out.

Marvin Lewis was quoted "As an organization, it is our number one priority to continue to surround our francise QB Carson Palmer with as many weapons as possible."

The problem with it though is that when Olsen is in other teams would know he's in to get catches. Last year Marvin laughed at the idea of taking a TE to get receptions because it would mean one more mouth to feed getting him the ball. Chris Perry/Tab Perry/TJ make up the general role of a TE in our offense. Kelly blocks and does a damn good job at it, he's part of our success.

Marvin as well as our TE coach and OC have said they would prefer to draft a TE that can block first and teach him how to become a reciever, we signed Tim Day to the practice squad and I think they're trying to groom him into our future starter. Our offense just isn't built for a recieving TE to be successful and to spend a day one pick when our D is only missing a few players would be foolish.

Ugoh, though a great athlete for an OT, he is raw and is a project. He made that quite clear at the Combine. #68 overall isn't that low. I think as far as the first round goes, based on my board it has to be either Landry, Anderson, Jarrett, or Revis. From what I hear, Allen is moving to CB. The Dolphins would all of the sudden have a good young secondary.

If Cincy is so set on offense, please explain how they ranked 26th in rushing yards and were horrible on 3rd down conversion.
The offense has all the name players of the Colts, the trouble is they're incredibly inconsistent...especially when the games matter most.
CB might be the more pressing need , but you make it sound like TE in unrealistic, which it isn't.
A Zach Miller or Greg Olsen wouldn't allow teams to package blitz without accouting for the TE spot. Right now, with the lack of pass catching talent there...That seems to be the case.
Since i dont follow the Bengals, ...but if I were to devise a scheme against them I'd say run blitz package on 1st drop line coverage blitz on 2nd and 3 while rolling the safety's to double the outside and leave the Nickel back in to either cover the TE..or blitz off delay if the TE remains in pass block mode.

You make a pretty good point there. To add to that they play Pittsburgh and Baltimore twice each year, and the Browns are in the process of building a blitz heavy 3-4 defense. Miller would be a better fit for them as a TE because he's a better blocker. That said, I don't see them needing a TE enough to spend their first round pick. Another option would be Ben Patrick, but with the absence of their 3rd round pick he probably isn't an option. He is considered the best blocking TE and most complete TE in the draft. He will more than likely be picked up with a comp. pick at the end of round 3, or a early 4th.

Timmons falling to the eagles is unlikely, but if he does no doubt we take him.
i dont like DE in the second round. we have Kearse coming back, Darren Howard had a pretty good year last year, and Trent Cole is a really good young talent.

Our needs are:

Saftey
LB
FB
OT
Big RB

I really think Timmons right now is a bit overated. Sure he's hands down the best athlete at OLB in the draft, but he is raw and a little inexperienced. I think when it's all said and done he will fall somewhere in this range. As far as Spencer goes, he adds depth and Youth. There are not too many positions where a starter can be drafted, so BPA for depth makes sence to me.

Our offenses lack of consistency is directly related to the Oline. It killed our numbers early in the year and Freeny owned Whitworth vs. Indy. Carson was just off vs. the Broncos. TJ Houshmanzadeh led the league in 3rd down conversions. The injury to Chris Perry and Tab Perry also hurt a lot as well, they were big on 3rd downs for us in '05.

I'm not saying we won't draft a TE, just that it will be day 2 if we do. Word is we've interviewed several day 2 TE's for this year at the combine.

Good second and OK third for the Eagles. In the first, we would go with Griffin though. The second is a solid pick and is possible. We do need CB, but we don't need one this early, he would only be our nickel. Anthony Waters would be a possible pick for the Eagles' third.

Giants wouldn't take either Irons in the draft, period. Horrible giants draft. Why would giants skip over blalock in the second, Fred bennet or Jonathan Wade in the third

Nice Dallas Mock...I could live with that.

However Dallas has been interviewing rush backers all offseason. A better pick might be Brian Robinson in the 3rd...Baziun might be another option as well. Robinson pick would give them 3 longhorn players...that doesn't seem likely...but definately a rush backer on the first day from the reports that have been coming out.

Good Packers draft :)

I disagree. While OLB is a need,Anthony Spencer may not be the best choice. Plus a S and TE are more pressing needs.

The Eagles would pick Griffin in this situation. Safety is our only true round one need, and since you have him available when we pick, he should be the pick. Our second rounder could be a CB, TE or RB, with other possibilities at DT or MLB, but in this situation I would go with Tony Hunt. As for our third rounder, we would probably pick a guy like Anthony Waters, MLB.

Bills draft sucks.
We re-signed Kelsay and still have Denney to play the right side they had 11.5 sacks combined. Kelsay (5.5) Denney (6)
OG no no no we paid big bucks to upgrade OG (Dock,Whittle)
3 R finally good pick
