1. Matt Ryan with Long and Ellis on the board is possible, but not something that I personally like. Not a big fan of him. I would prefer Ellis or Long and pick up a dropping QB later.

2. Pat Sims..we need OT help alot and though DT is a need, I dont think with Carl Nicks there we go DT. And Brian Brohm is there. We would snatch him right up in the 2nd if we didnt take Ryan.

3. Is this a typo? Andre Woodson? We just took Matt Ryan with number 3 overall. We could have taken Brohm at 37 and our QB problems would be solved forever. But in all seriousness, this pick would make sense if we picked up Ellis and Nicks beforehand.

Otherwise, good mock.

who? theres no one avail at that point worth taking that is any better than would be avail in rd 3. dont worry about wr anyway the skins will take care of it in FA or through Trade.

Love the Baker and Wheeler picks.... the McFadden pick is stupid, unless he's traded afterward.

Great first pick for Oakland. Too high for Doucet in early second though and hes not the playmaking receiver we would need in that spot.

Good Vikings draft, I would rather have Manningham in the second round though.

I like Harvey, and Hawkins seems like an interesting pick. I heard he had a great Senior Bowl, so he's not out of the question.

I would cry (in a good way) if the Giants got Cason and Mayo in the first two rounds.

I really love Mayo, and while I've seen a few Tennessee games this season, I can't say how he would do for us playing different linebacker positions. Pierce isn't going where for us at MLB, and I would love to have Mayo, as he is always around the football - but could play strongside and weakside if we needed him to?

I'm uncertain, would be interested if someone could answer that.

Not sexy at all Jakey. No thanks on DeSean Jackson with a CB like Cromartie available, or a DE like Calais Campbell, or Sam Baker or Reggie Smith.

Round 2: Mario Manningham would be lovely right about here, as would Lawrence Jackson.

Make it Cromartie and Manningham and it's VERY sexy :)

So are the Packers going to pay Dan Connor to sit the bench or do you plan on him replacing one of our LBs?

jesus christ chris long would quite possibly make my day...jakey, for a steelers fan, you always give us premium picks in your mocks.

and giving us erin henderson in round 2? i think you might be a closet ravens fan. Come over to the dark side my man, purple and black is much better then black and gold.

I haven't heard a lot about Kentwan Balmer, but he seems to fit in that position, although I'd like a WR there, namely Doucet or Manningham. Anyways any draft where Gholston comes to NY is a good one.

wow i just noticed something.

No Way does Chris Long pass 3 3-4 teams ('Fins, Jets, and Pats)!

Jakey, I hope you know that Manningham is another Santonio. Mario can barely run routes all that well except the Go route. I like the first pick, but, I would prefer Nicks because he is climbing high on draft boards as we speak. But nice mock anyways.

That's a lie.....Mario also runs the out and up very well :) You make it sound like his route running is as bad as Ted Ginn's, and that's just mean.

Plus Hines, you being a PSU fan should know how well Manningham runs the skinny post. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ofg5EiHxaX8 :)

Why would the Chargers draft another free safety? He won't be a cb either, they drafted paul oliver last year. What was your reasoning behind that pick?

I really dont have much problem with the giants draft even though cason will probably be a mid to late 2nd rounder after the combine, and mayo will have to wait behind AP.

Round 1
2. St. Louis Rams- Glenn Dorsey

Round 2

34. St. Louis Rams- Phillip Merling

dorsey's ok.
but with chris long and vernon gholston available with the ram's edge rushing needs and glen's knees and all . . . i hope not.

merling's interesting. even if a de is taken by the ram's in the 1st round - merling is still interesting . . .

Well I am growing on the McKelvin pick Rivers fills a bigger hole despite what people say about CB.

If the Lions take a CB in round 1, Talib is the pick.

I don't see Adibi fitting in our LB group. We need a MLB and he just wouldn't fit it. Instead, I'd like Wheeler there.

Solid picks... closer than most.

Like the Bucs mock, but I would rather have Jordy Nelson over Caldwell, I have seen too many Florida receivers come through Tampa and just plain suck.

Don't like the Pats mock. We have Maroney/Morris/Faulk/Evans/Eckel at running back, and we're not going to pay a late first round talent #7 money to play corner if we won't pay Samuel.
