The Giants have the 32nd pick. We did win the Super Bowl or something like that. Also, why would the Giants pick a 3-4 OLB in Crable? Give us Jerod Mayo in the 2nd and Demps in the 3rd.

Good Vikings draft, DeSean Jackson wouldn't be my first choice for our first rounder, but overall a good draft.

acceptable bears draft though LB isnt a need. especially a MLB in goff. the bears have been grooming jamar williams to take over in the event briggs is lost and they just drafted okwo in the 3rd last year.

make that a WR or another o-lineman or a S or a DT instead and thats a helluva bears draft

it doesnt really matter which way you put it because only 30 teams actually make a pick before the giants in round 1, making their pick 31st

Rodgers-Cromartie would be a much better pick for the Chargers. We have a need for a versatile defender that can play CB/S.

Great Miami draft! Only thing is, although Schuening is a great pick there, I would much rather grab a playmaking TE like Bennett there or a NT like Ahtyba Rubin. Then get another OL in the 4th maybe. Just a little insider though, Flacco would be the pick at the top of the 3rd if he was there, mark that down! He may just end up being one of our 2nd rounders, as I hear we are very high on him right now.

Also, I would be EXTREMELY upset with the Giants if they took DRC right before us, I might root against them forever on after that.

Both Cromartie cousins together. I think there is a rule against that!

Confirmation anyone?

...At least there should be anyway.

I like McFadden, but not as a DT.

Hard to imagine both Ellis and Dorsey falling out of the top 5.

10) New Orleans- Keith Rivers LB
41) New Orleans- Tracy Porter CB
79) New Orleans- Barry Richardson LT
1st round is great, all though it's not fun to see Ellis go right in front of us. 2nd round is also good as we need corners. Don't like the 3rd pick though. Richardson is not very impressive. If we take OL in the 3rd round I'd much rather see Heath Benedict. Payton seems to like those small school o-linemen (Jahri Evans, Jermon Bushrod) :)

Switch Balmer for Calais and switch Brennan for Johnson or a CB and it is a much better draft.

11) Buffalo- Malcolm Kelly WR --- Good pick
42) Buffalo- Phillip Wheeler LB --- nice pick --- rather have Mayo
72) Buffalo (from Baltimore)- Jermichael Finley TE --- Rather have rucker.
73) Buffalo- Chevis Jackson CB--- good pick

Perfect picks for Buffalo

Matthew Jones

Would prefer Keith Rivers to Phillips in the first (Sanders/Meriweather/Harrison at FS for next year, Bruschi and Seau as our only ILBs last year assuming both return), but the rest is good.

Chris Williams or Gosder Cherilus over Sam Baker...Antoine Cason over Chilo Rachal. I love the DJ Hall pick. Grade B

So basically it would be great to pick up 3 of the best players that could be available?

Why on earth would the Jets take Dorsey?

Crickett
02-05-2008, 11:16 AM
6) New York Jets- Glenn Dorsey DT

Dorsey doesn't seem to me like someone who would provide anything to the Jets that Robertson doesn't already. And by that I mean someone who could be really good in the 4-3 but is stuck in the 3-4.

12) Denver- Derrick Harvey DE

I know Scott has Denver taking a DE, but considering the investment they made in the position last year, I just can't see the Broncos going that route again. Especially with Clady and Otah sitting right there.

34) ST louis- Chris Williams LT

The idea of St. Louis drafting a LT makes a lot more sense to me than Jake Long. There is less of an investment, so if he sits on the bench for a time while Orlando Pace wraps up his career, its not that big of a deal.

40) San Francisco- Ali Highsmith LB

Thinking about the problems Jonathan Vilma has had in the 3-4, is Highsmith a good fit for the 49ers who run a 3-4?

44) Carolina- Chad Henne QB
This will allow David Carr to follow what has been his life long dream. To be a pianist.

63) New York Giants- Shawn Crable LB/DE

Believe it or not, I could very easily see the Giants draft a defensive end day one. To say that the Giants pass rush is a big reason they won the Superbowl is an understatement of epic proportions. But I can't see them drafting a DE/LB tweener when they already moved Mathias Kiwanuka to linebacker. Unless of course Shawn Crable benches 225 eight hundred thousand times at the combine.

88) Cleveland- Jordy Nelson WR
OMGZZZWTFZZZZBBQZZZZZ STEALZZZZ OF THE DRAFTZZZZ

96) New York Giants- Steve Slaton RB

Another pick I have the Giants drafting is this. The only question I have is Derrick Ward going to resign with the Giants. With or without him, running back is barely even a day two need for the Giants considering who they have (Bradshaw and Jacobs). With Ward, I wouldn't even say its a day two need.

LoJack makes no sense for the Cardinals, he isn't a great pass rusher and he can't play standing up, Crable would be a better pick than him

the 2nd and 3rd round giants picks are putrid. like terribly awful. We don't need another tweener, we have Kiwi, we need a LB who can COVER!

slaton will be a complete bust and failure in the NFL, and the Giants don't need a 4th RB in the 3rd round...

ali highsmith is too small to play in the 3-4 that the niners play.

Harvey to Denver? What's the point? Another undersized DE isn't going to help at all.

1)Covers all the dolphins needs…. It would be great to pick up MARCUS TRUFANT, FLORZELL ADAMS, and Chad JOHNSON…..

what makes you think one of the top FA CBs, OL and one of the best WR in football would wanna go to a team who won one game last year?
