Computer problem...

1st of all Id like to say this is probably really stupid, easy and will make me look stupid, but its pissing me off...

I got a new laptop and its really sweet but I mustve pressed a random button because some of my characters are coming out weird in different places. Does anyone known the name or function of this button or what has happened to my computer. Its an HP not a Mac or anything.

To give you an example, I will post a list of characters and their corresponding replacements that make it hard for me to post proper grammar.

Apostrophe: must`ve
/: é
^: ?
#: /

etc.

It's probably something to do with the keyboard input language, since the keys for English keyboards are different to American etc, what OS do you have? Vista?

Yeah, Vista, but I think it corrected itself because it's fine now.

lol very interesting, one time i did something weird so that everything i typed would come out backwards
