This is my first mock of the year.
-Feel free to rip this mock BUT please explain
Let me explain some picks.

-I struggled with Buffalo pick, so i gave them Limas Sweed
-Houstan recieved Aqib Talib (may be a little too high- need secondary for their division)
- San Diego i really didn't see any glaring weakness, so DRC was the choice.

1) Miami Dolphins- Glenn Dorsey
2) St. Louis Rams- Chris Long
3) Atlanta Falcons- Matt Ryan
4) Oakland Raiders- Darren Mcfadden
5) Kansas City Chiefs- Jake Long
6) New York Jets- Vernon Gholston
7) New England Patriots (f/SF)- Mike Jenkins
8) Baltimore Ravens- Brian Brohm
9) Cincinnati Bengals- Sedrick Ellis
10) New Orleans Saints- Keith Rivers
11) Buffalo Bills- Limas Sweed
12) Denver Broncos- Kenny Phillips
13) Carolina Panthers- Ryan Clady
14) Chicago Bears- Jeff Otah
15) Detroit Lions- Chris Williams
16) Arizona Cardinals- Leodis McKelvin
17) Minnesota Vikings- Derrick Harvey
18) Houston Texans- Aqib Talib
19) Philadelphia Eagles- Desean Jackson
20) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Kentwan Balmer
21) Washington Redskins- Calais Campbell
22) Dallas Cowboys- Reggie Smith
23) Pittsburgh Steelers- Gosder Cherilus
24) Tennessee Titans- Malcolm Kelly
25) Seattle Seahawks- Rashard Mendenahall
26) Jacksonville Jaguars- Phillip Merling
27) San Diego Chargers- Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
28) Dallas Cowboys- Felix Jones
29) San Francisco 49ers- Early Doucet
30) Green Bay Packers- Antoine Cason
31) New York Giants- Dan Conner

I will try to listen to suggestions.

I've said it before, but I won't kill you for it because it seems that everyone besides Giants fans want Connor, but I would prefer Tracy Porter or Sam Baker. =D

Malcolm Kelly would be a good choice there too.
If Talib has a good 40 time, I can see us taking him there.

I wouldnt mind Sweed though.

Good Houston pick. HATE Baltimore's pick, give us Ellis or McKelvin.

'overrated' is not the best pick for the Falcons...as time is going to show. The Falcons are looking to build up the middle, which means OT / OG and DT are going to be positions we focus on. Sedric Ellis and Jake Long are both better picks for the Falcons.

agree with yung flippa, Brohm would be a terrible pick for us. nowhere near top 10 material if you ask me. Id rather have Leodis McKelvin or Sedrick Ellis

Very good Chargers pick, especially considering Smith and Cherilus are off the board.

solid KC pick

Thanks for the comments.

Dorsey to the Phins will not happen, it's a dumb pick, unless we were to switch back the 4-3 full time.... which I do not see happening at all.

great Rams pick

02-09-2008, 09:35 AM
Realistically i could see Miami getting Chris Long at #1 i may change it later.

02-09-2008, 09:59 AM
19) Philadelphia Eagles- Desean Jackson

I don't see this happening. Yes, I know the Eagles need a burner and a return man, but this one's not happening. Eagles and first round wideouts don't mix, especially with Calais Campbell, Dom Rodgers-Cromartie, and Reggie Smith on the board.

nice SD pick.

A Perfect Score

terrible terrible terrible ravens pick...come on man, brohm? seriously? give us seddy ellis to take over for pryce of mclkevin or something, jsut not a QB. especially brohm.

02-09-2008, 10:16 AM
Redskins wont draft a DE on day one give us a CB or WR

02-09-2008, 10:27 AM
From what ive seen so far Ravens fans don't like Brohm. I trust you guys so i will probably change it in my next mock.

02-09-2008, 10:48 AM
Solid Pats pick. Lmao @ Bills. Give them DeSean Jackson or Malcolm Kelly

02-09-2008, 11:12 AM
Redskins wont draft a DE on day one give us a CB or WR

Why wouldn't they? Their pass rush is brutal.

About the Eagles- I know they never take WR's in the first round but i made that pick based on hope that they would. I hope this is the year that Andy Reid finally takes that WR.
