Reggie Smith is a pretty safe pick for us in the 1st. I would've been happy with the 2nd rounder but the eagles franchise tagged LJ Smith so we have bigger issues than TE.

Okay 1st for the ravens, Good Houston pick. Give the Ravens Erin Henderson in round 2.

I didn't know you guys tagged Smith. Yeah that was based on him leaving. I thought it made sense for them to just let him go.

If we passed on Calais Campbell in the 2nd round, I might shank Myself for real!

He won't fall that far anyway so I guess I have nothing to worry about! :D

That being said, if the draft did pan out that way, I would rather it go like this:

1. Chris Long
33. Calais Campbell
58. Carl Nicks

That would be an almost perfect draft for me, especially if we could grab Justin King for a CB at number 65 in the third.... it would be a WRAP!

I'm sorry but Campbell is a horrible fit for you guys.

Jake Long: Perfect pick

Brian Brohm: Perfect pick

Jamaal Charles: Not so much. He is just like Norwood and we would want a bigger back for short yardage and goal line situations and to complement him. At this spot, I would even want Carl Nicks.

I'm so tired of Dan Connor at this point, that I think I would actually be pretty upset if we did end up taking him.

I also think you are being a little generous with Porter at 64. He should be gone before that.

For the Bengals:
1st pick is good
2nd pick is pretty horrible

The tight end is just not used in the offense other than as a blocker, which Davis is not. Any defensive lineman would be a better pick.

Looks pretty good for the Titans. I just wonder if Groves goes well before that if he runs well.

1.) Malcolm Kelly - Great Pick
2.) Erin Henderson - I like Philip Wheeler and Henderson the same. Either or is a good choice here.

I think i'd rather have Rodgers-Cromartie in the first, but I love LawJack in the 2nd.

Morgan seems like a reach in the 1st but with Smith, Cherlius and Rodgers-Cromartie gone it is not a bad pick.

Interesting 2nd Round for the Jets. I like it though. Creative.

Steelers:

Great 1st, Average 2nd. If they draft a OT in round 1, it is almost certain that Willie Colon will be moved to guard, in which case i dont think we draft a guard early this year.

For the Atlanta Falcons:

I love the first and second draft picks. Jake Long is a very solid tackle, and he can be someone the QB can trust to guard his blind side. If Brohm fell to us, which is unlikely, I will truly be the happiest man on Earth. That would be a steal right there.

However, what I didn't like about your mock was Jamaal Charles. Don't get me wrong, I think he will be a productive back in the NFL. However, I don't see us having two speedsters. You're probably not a Falcons fan, so you don't know this, but Mularkey's offense will consist of one power back and one speed demon. Atlanta already has a speedster in Jerious Norwood. Now, we just need someone who can push the pile and get those short yardage situations to go our way.

Good mock nonetheless except for the Charles pick. Good read.

Not a big fan of Phillip Merling, eh? I'd rather have Reggie Smith than Merling, but Carlson is a nice pick in the second.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings to get Charles, but I don't know...I think we could find a better back for our team needs than that, I'd rather have Philip Wheeler there in the 2nd...unless you want to give him to us at the top of the 3rd...that'd be sweet...and we could take someone like Dre Moore or Trevor Laws in the 2nd...DT is a need for us too...

Solid Pats pick, but I would prefer DRC.

I had Laws pegged for you, but changed it at the last minute. I wasn't sure what type of DT you needed. Yeah and I agree with the Falcon's fans that Charles isn't probably the best compliment for Norwood. The power back value was't there in the second.

This pretty much sums it up for me. Dan Connor for some reason seems to be the only Giants first round pick these days.

Until we know what happens with Mitchell, and whether or not Kiwi will be back at defensive end next year, which it sounds like he will, I don't really like this pick. It's not too shabby, but I'd like to see something different until we know if we'll be bringing back Kawika Mitchell. Or if Kiwi makes the switch back to DE.

Porter is awesome at 64 though. He's a perfect match for our physical press coverage style of defense. Not sure if he falls that far though unless he times poorly.

In 2006 EVERY mock draft had us taking AJ Hawk, last year EVERY mock draft had us taking Marshawn Lynch, and we were locked in for them since October.

AJ Hawk was a great pick for us. Marshawn would have been a great pick had he lasted. And Connor would be a great pick for the Giants. I know it's boring to see the same pick over and over, but the most obvious picks are usually the best.

not a bad Dallas mock, id prefer rb over LT in the 2nd though, we have some guys on the team who could step up, we dont have any rb at all, by the end of the 3rd the pickings are slim, I think if we dont go rb in the 1st we will in the 2nd.

I'm not saying he won't be a good pick, but with this much uncertainty for the Giants I tend to believe that we would shy away from linebacker right now.

If Kawika Mitchell isn't re-signed and Kiwi moves back to defensive end, then by all means, I'm very happy with that pick.

You have a good point though. Perhaps it's just right now I'd like to see some different picks for us, since there are so many unknowns for us.
