Interesting mock, one thing that I thought that is probably not going to happen is James Hardy dropping to late 2nd with alot of need for WRs, I think that he would go mid first to early 2nd maybe mid 2nd. Good job though.

A+ Draft for the Bengals.

02-11-2008, 05:06 PM
I wouldn't spend the Raiders first two picks on the DL. If they re-sign Kelly, they could put him and Warren at DT and Burgess and Long at DE. Of course Simms could very well be an upgrade over Warren so I wouldn't complain, but I would like to see them grab Devin Thomas, or another WR or a OT.

02-11-2008, 05:07 PM
like the Chiefs draft a lot

02-11-2008, 05:08 PM
Would rather have Vernon Gholston or Chris Long at number 1, but Sedrick Ellis would be a decent pick.

For the second round, I like the Nicks pick a lot, but I absolutely despise the Andre Caldwell pick. I would much prefer Ahtyba Rubin, the NT from Iowa State, there instead.

Pretty interesting mock, Eliis could very well end up being the top pick after the combine he is a beast

As for the Cardinals you filled out 2 biggest needs and got good value at the spots

great movie too

1.) Malcolm Kelly - Good Pick
2.) Ali Highsmith - I like Philip Wheeler A LOT better. I'd rather go with him here.

Yung Flippa

Okay 1st and good 2nd for the Ravens
Good Houston pick.

02-11-2008, 05:44 PM
Great Oakland draft.

02-11-2008, 06:04 PM
awful jets mock, te in the second round would make everyone jump off a cliff

02-11-2008, 06:05 PM
Great pick for the Chargers.

02-11-2008, 06:17 PM
The Jets don't need a Tight End.

Matthew Jones
02-11-2008, 06:21 PM
Good...second round for the Pats.

02-11-2008, 06:29 PM
Good Bears mock i'd love to get Jones in round 2.

02-11-2008, 07:21 PM
Gruden and the Bucs will not draft a quaterback in the first. He prefers veteran QBs. I also think Trevor Laws in the mid second is a bit high as well.

02-11-2008, 07:25 PM
Can't say I'm a fan of any Miami pick other then Nicks.

02-11-2008, 07:31 PM
since when did GreenBay have a 2nd round need for a DE?
Give us a LB

02-11-2008, 07:46 PM
nice chargers pick.

02-11-2008, 07:55 PM
Interesting mock for the Eagles. You have them getting a value pick in round one and have them reaching in round two.

02-11-2008, 08:14 PM
Amazing Cardinals mock.

02-11-2008, 08:15 PM
Talib is to slow, and mannigham is garbage. Johnson is a great pick, but the 2 cowboys first rounders are terrible.

02-11-2008, 09:47 PM
hmm...felix would be interesting to the bears in 2. hes a first round talent as it stands now

02-11-2008, 10:07 PM
I can't imagine the Patriots taking a Clady over Dorsey...

02-11-2008, 10:34 PM
Amazing Rams Draft!!!!

02-11-2008, 10:35 PM
and THE best mock name ever +reps

Im a diehard Packers fan by the way. Anyway, Defensive end is not a top need for the Packers. BUT, neither was DT last year. I think TT thinks hes got something with the fine defensive tackle rotation weve got going. We need to keep it going, at DE. Plus, If Williams leaves, we have a gap at our DT spot. Drafting a DE, allows us the option of sliding Jenkins in on occasionaly, while allowing plenty of options at end. With a versatile 3rd DE, we can give Kampman a much needed break (he slowed down at the end of the year.... maybe because he played 98% of the snaps) and preparation for KGB's departure (he wont be around much longer). Plus us drafting 2 VTU players last year, gave me an impression that we like something in that program, so Ellis seemed like a Ted Thompson type draft pick to me.
Interesting mock for the Eagles. You have them getting a value pick in round one and have them reaching in round two.
I dont see Devin Thomas as a reach in the 2nd round. Where do you se ehim going?
Talib is to slow, and mannigham is garbage. Johnson is a great pick, but the 2 cowboys first rounders are terrible.
This isnt a what does some fan prefers draft. Its a mock draft, aka a prediction. Both those players fill Cowboys needs and both players have last 1st round grades at the moment. I dont see that as terrible.

And to the Jets fans complaining about TE. I was under the impression Baker wasnt that great, and Clemons needs some targets. I understand there are much more pressing needs (ex. RT) but I felt the value wasnt there, while TE value was very high. What do you think? What would you suggest?

Pretty good Rams mock. Hard to see them passing over Chris Long if he's available, though.

Considering the Colts' history of drafting OGs in the Polian era, I doubt they spend their 2nd round pick on a OG. Geo did an interesting writeup on this in the Colts team forum. I believe it was since 2000, the Colts have used a total of two Day 1 picks on OL, and one of those was LT Tony Ugoh in last year's draft. The bulk of the Colts OL in that span came from Day 2, UDFA, and waiver pickups, including Pro Bowler Jeff Saturday, and 4/5 of the 2007 starting OL.

02-12-2008, 10:35 AM
Phillip Wheeler > DaJuan Morgan

Chris Williams is a good pick, though.

02-12-2008, 10:47 AM
I highly doubt Chris Williams will go that high.
