Eh, it depends on the set up you have, really. If you have a nice couch, a big screen HDTV, and a DVR - TV is the way to go. Of course, I have none of those things except the DVR.
Even then, sometimes it's just easier to grab my laptop, go find a comfortable place at the campus library and kick back and watch it there. However, if you have an uncomfortable computer chair, a small/bad monitor, I think it really makes it less appealing to watch via your PC. Also, the quality of the show is generally a lot worse on PC's - though some shows, like LOST are now available in streaming HD which is a plus.

I haven't been downloading many shows on-line. A couple, mostly freebees from Itunes, but I have been using Netflix Instant Watching feature.

I just watch everything on TV. It wouldnt feel right watching a football game on a computer when you can watch it on a tv. Thats just my take, its a little weird I know.

personally, I like watching TV more, but I end up watching more shows online just because of how easily available they are...I will usually watch like seasons at a time of random shows I wanted to get into but didn't when they first started, and rather than going out and renting/buying season box sets, watching them online is easier...then once I catch up, I start watching them on TV...but online is just so much easier if you don't own box sets

If downloaded counts as online, then I'll say online.

I record my shows and then watch them later. So I guess I incorporate both the TV and online. Just because no commercials and pausing is available.

I completely agree. In fact, I can't remember the last time I watched thing on television that wasn't.
