Yea I know he sucked mostly his entire time at Miami, but I keep hearing about how he's a great athlete and has everything you look for he just wasnt developed properly at Miami...
Is there a chance he gets drafted late, because if thats his only problem sitting on the bench in a good position for 2-3 years could be beneficial to a guy like him...Not sure if he would be the best fit in Dallas, but I wouldnt mind taking a qb with some measurables and try to find another diamond in the rough after he learns the game properly.

i think he is a draftable prospect just because he has all of the physical tools. Looks like a 6-7th rounder at best but he does have the measurables

maybe, as Mr. Irrelevant.

When I saw him play as a sophmore i guess it was his first game and it was in tallahassee and i came away very impressed. He moved well in the pocket and when things broke down he really got better as he could find open targets when things started to get frantic. He really seemed to have the natural ability and instincts, at least at one point in his career. He probably won't get drafted but I'd invite him to camp.
He doesn't have all these "physical tools" that people speak of him. He doesn't throw with much velocity, his deep balls suck and his accuracy is worse. He's also really slow.
With that being said, I think he'll be drafted. Very few of our players developed under Coker and you have to wonder whose fault it is when there's so many examples and most were top recruits out of HS. With some proper coaching and stability he could develop, so I think he's a draftable project of a prospect.

Another thing I forgot to mention is I also saw him in Tallahassee this past year when he was a senior and he looked very bad and not at all the same QB as he did previously.

I bet Xavier Lee would be drafted before Kyle Wright.

In the last 10 drafts the average number of QBs drafted per year is 12.
I don't think he will be drafted.

Lee gets position change he gets drafted 7 rd
Lee gets position change he gets drafted 7 rd
To what? LB? Lee is too small to play TE and too big to play RB or WR.
Lee actually has some tools so he might have a better chance than Wright at getting drafted, but his work ethic is terrible and he has no passion for the game, so I doubt he lasts very long.

He goes to the Bucs in the 7th.
He goes to the Bucs in the 7th.
A) We don't have a 7th.
B) He is NOT a WCO QB. Gruden would pull all his hair out with Wright as a project.

A: Comp picks

Good point on the comp. picks. I keep forgetting about those.
Funny how we're still pursuing Jake Plummer out of retirement. What a dumb trade...even if he did return he wouldn't be worth a 4th.

I think he can be great. I would definetly take him in the 6th or 7th. He is my favorite prospect in the entire draft. I dont know why but I like the guy. He has everything you look for, only needs to work on his decision making. Look at Matt Ryan he threw 19 interceptions this year and he could be the first overall, so why this guy is being overlooked is beyond me.

I really doubt it, i remember at least a few times they put in Kirby Freeman instead of him. As a senior QB when you lose your job i think that might mean that you wont get drafted, especially when its a junior QB who isn't very good either.

I see no reason to draft him, terrible accuracy, his deep ball always gets picked, he is immobile and had very little production even with teams stacking the box
Id draft Morelli before Id draft Wright and thats saying something.

If Wright were the same player he was as a sophomore maybe, but he's regressed so much since then. It really doesn't make sense, because it's not just his mental tools, but his physical tools disappeared as well. At times this year he showed some mental capabilities but his arm was so terrible it didn't matter.

All I can say is that he'd have to really impress at least one team throwing the ball at the combine or at his pro day. If he can't, the most he can hope for is a tryout and maybe a scouting team spot.

If he does, thats proof of lack of quality depth at QB in this draft.
same with Anthony Morelli.

If I am taking a project I am taking Sam Keller from Nebraska.
He might not get drafted, but that doesn't mean he won't get signed as an UDFA, and maybe have the chance to develop for a year or two on someone's practice squad. I'd be somewhat interested.

speaking about URFA's where is chris leak QB Florida (former NCAA champ) these days?
I thought he was on the Bears practice squad, but maybe not. He's going to play in the AAFL on Team Florida though, starting in April.

Lee can play Safety or DB, or returner, like marcus vick. Also he can play WR no such thing as to big of a WR at 6-4 230 with speed and arm works good with trick plays. And alway can be a reserve qb, no way he ends up playing db.
Wright on the other hand will not get drafted Brock Borlin went undrafted.

I don't see him getting drafted, he's done nothing to warrent a look. He has done nothing but underachieve and look bad in the process

Wow I don't know much about Wright but i've watched Morelli play in person for the last two years and he is awfull.
I think both of these guys may get drafted in the 7th but Morelli will be cut in training camp or mini camp.

I don't think ether of them will be drafted. Wright simply isn't talented enough and Lee is uncoachable. They may get a FA lookover but that is all they can expect.
