It's been awhile since ive done one of these. I tried to make it pretty different from the others ive seen. Its a 2 rounder. Would prefer Rivers/Cason for the Pats. McKelvin is more of a man cover guy and we run zone, which Cason excels in, plus I have Cason and McKelvin with really similar grades.

To clarify the picks...

NE has the 31st pick, which is then skipped. So, NYG have the 32nd pick.

There will be 64 picks by the end of round 2.

Also for the Giants, Connor doesn't fit our scheme and Cason sucks monkey pole.

Not bad. Chris Williams would be a good pick for Houston but I don't think that they'll go O-Line in the 1st now that they have Alex Gibbs. DRC to the Steelers is intereseting but idk if he fits in the D. I don't see the Jags reaching on a DE when they can get a better pass rusher than Jackson in the 2nd. Talib is pretty good value to the Pack but his weakness is man the GB loves to run press coverage. Stilll a pretty good mock.

What kind of LB fits your scheme?

Hmmm, does rivers fit the 3-4?

If the Bills pass on Keith Rivers, I will go berserk.
LB and WR are our top 2 needs. Out of Keith Rivers and Malcolm Kelly, I'd rather go with Keith Rivers.
Then in round 2, I'd want to go with James Hardy.

He does as an ILB.

I like the Chiefs picks, but some would argue that corner would be a better choice for the second round pick.

You won't hear me complain about getting olineman though. :p

Ill keep that in mind.

Why would the Chargers take Morgan if Reggie Smith is still available?

I think He's a better pure safety.

I think He's a better pure safety.

I can understand that but the reason Reggie Smith is such a good pick for the Chargers is his versatility. Right now nickelback is a more immediate need than safety because we are losing Florence and Hart played pretty well last season. The problem with Hart is he already hit 30 so Smith can play nb until eventually taking over for Hart. He also provides depth to every position in a secondary that is currently pretty thin.

I like giants second round pick, but the first one makes me feel like i want to punch a baby. His name is also Dan Connor. In that situation in the first, giants either take Pat Sims or Reggie Smith. Smith makes sense because we need help at corner and safety so either one we could plug him in at.

I'll live with those seahawks picks. Davis is should develop into a nice TE...though I'd rather have a taller one than 6'1 3/4. Smith should be a starting caliber NFL RB eventually...and being as how Alexander probably isn't going anywhere anytime soon(...) we're definately going to have to split the carries.

Okay Raven's 1st. Good 2nd. Okay Texans pick, rather have DeSean Jackson to compliment Andre Johnson.

I hope the Bears would take Felix Jones if he fell that far in round 2. Henne does nothing for me.

pretty solid phins draft, although I would much rather have either Cason or Wheeler than Mayo. Long and Nicks are good picks though.

interesting you say this because I seriously thought of putting ellis in there over dorsey. I wasnt quite sure the world was ready for that yet though. I might save that surprise for next time.

and Cason sucks monkey pole.

Yeah, he sucks so bad he was a four year starter and won the Thorpe award as the best DB in the country... Have you ever seen him play? Or do you just get your information from Scott's rankings: Oh, he's listed as 4.55, he must not be very good.

Maybe you're just an anti-homer, in that he went to the UA and you're an ASU fan.

The bears first round pick is ok. We really need a tackle, but I am not completely sold on otah yet. I would rather see the bears draft a running back or wide reciever in the second and take Josh Johnson in the later rounds. We need to fix our offense before we throw a rookie in there.

I dont think kenny phillips is a reach at that point. The only other options i really see at that point are keith rivers and maybe one of the corners.

No way Indy passes on Ali Highsmith if he falls to them. If he doesnt, I see them going OL.
