Great move, Hopefully we sign him longterm ASAP, hes only 24 (or 25) and is still in his prime. Should have great years ahead of him. Hopefully he'll be a raven during those years:).

And if we can't re-sign him, lets trade him now and get the most we can for him.

Agreed trade him for Larry Fitzgerald, then draft the monster Vernon Gholston :D ( i can dream)

While I don't disagree with franchising him because its the smart move, I wonder if we should let him play out the year on the franchise tender to see if last year was just a down year like we did with McAlister.
