Any word out yet on who the bengals are looking at in FA this year? Im hoping for a guy like Rod Coleman since his ATL cut

i havent seen anything yet and per usual we prolly wont do much in FA but coleman could be a nice addition for the right price. he would at least be good for depth.

Coleman is a solid interior rusher which is what we need some help with. if we do sign him, i could see us taking Rivers or a DE in rd1 and maybe DT depth in 2 or 3

ya, im not really familiar with coleman but that sounds good. hes gotta be better than thorton/robinson but id like to see us get a rookie interior presence at some point. he doesn't have to start right away but he should get ample playing time ASAP. Coleman would be a good mentor if his play doesnt pan out, but thornton and robinson are good for that anyways. i do want those two gone, but thornton will probably be here.

I would hope top see us release some guys real soon too. I see no reason why Thornton is still on the team. How old is Coleman? I know he's a solid player but if he's opver 30, I have no use for him.

I want a big name DT like Shaun Rogers(trade only) or Corey Williams.

Shaun Rogers(sorry to dissapoint) is exactly what we DON'T need at this point. his talent is great but his work ethic is terrible. Dude should be without a doubt the best DT in football but thats not happening at this point. Sure id like to take a chance even if we COULD get him but I dont think we will even try. Corey Williams would be great bt Rodgers is a waste of our time unless our new DC could talk some sense into him.

Corey William,s has been franchised. Rogers is 1 bad test away from a year long suspensioon and he is lazy.

In my few years I've been with the Bengals train long enough to know we aren't going to do jack in FA so why get our hopes up?
I think Kearse would be a great gamble for us to take however it won't happen.
Why the Bengals
