Wow, that is terrible news. 25 is far too young for someone to pass away like this.

He was a great short-yardage runner, sucks to see this happen twice to a classy team like the Broncos. RIP Damien, I hope you're still in Madden 08 cause I was gonna draft you :(

Jesus Christ, one death this offseason was too many. Two (from the same team, no less) is too much to handle.

This is awful. The Broncos are cursed right now. Put Champ Bailey on the Madden 08 cover and maybe it will offset the existing curse and put an end to everything.

Speaking of unfortunate incidents, has there been any more news on why Darrent Williams was shot and killed?

RIP Damien...You will be missed
Why Denver twice in the same off season, thats just wrong
Condolences to family and friends for their tragic, untimely loss.
Admittedly, I do wonder what could have been the cause of death: I can't imagine a charity basketball game having some sort of lethal effect on an athlete such as he.

I'm wondering what caused it too, maybe his heart just quit, sometimes that hapens to sportsmen (and women).
And this just plain sucks. Poor guys family. RIP.

I think a defribrillator should be required at all sporting venues. There have been a couple of deaths in my area of athletes colapsing and the only one that survived was at a place were a defribrillator was used.....RIP
