The Lions have an opening at right tackle. They have been trying to re-sign Damien Woody, who moved from right guard to right tackle last year and can hit the free agent market Friday.

“Depending on the outcome” of his visit to Detroit, Shelton is considering visiting Seattle, Jacksonville and Buffalo, his agent, Vance Larimer, wrote in an e-mail Monday.

I think this shows that Woody is asking for way to much money or we were really never that interested in bringing him back. We could probably do worse than Shelton.

Edit - The only thing I'm thinking about is that the worse team in the league cut him. A team with one win.

He's another stop gap at 31 going on 32 years old. Former Left Tackle now a Right Tackle. He can't be worse than Foster. But you never know once they get into that Honolulu Blue.

He graduated from the same High School as me and Paul Davis (Former Michigan State Spartan, current Clipper). He was before our time though... Yay!

Pass. I'd rather get an OT in the 1st/2nd.

ummm....yeah no thanks. I see no clear way in which this would upgrade our team.
