1. Miami Dolphins- DE/OLB Chris Long Virginia

Hands down favorite for this pick. I shouldnt even have to explain anymore.

2. St. Louis Rams- DE/OLB Vernon Gholston Ohio State

After his great combine there is no question that he could go anywhere in the top 5. Rams need a defensive end but not only that they give Haslett a new toy for his hybrid defense. Gholston can easily play 3-4 OLB or 4-3 End. Carriker-Ryan-Ayendenju make for a solid 3-4 front.

3. Atlanta Falcons- OT Jake Long Michigan

Yeah they could draft Ryan in this spot but who in the world is going to protect him???? Long would be a great fit for the rebuilding Falcons who have stated they want to build through the trenches. Much like last year when we all thought Brady Quinn to the Browns was a lock and then came Joe Thomas. Same scenario this year.

4. Oakland Raiders- DT Sedrick Ellis USC

McFadden will be very tempting for them but Ellis is just too good to pass up here. If Al Davis wants a speed freak then he could jump on Chris Johnson in the second round.

5. Kansas City Cheifs- QB Matt Ryan Boston College

Cheifs jump on Ryan here based on value and someone to compete with Croyle whom they are down on.

6. New York Jets- RB Darren McFadden Arkansas

Not really a need for them but a talent they cannot pass up even if they have to let go Thomas Jones.

7. New England Patriots- DE/OLB Derrick Harvey Florida

Pats havent been shy with adding players from the Florida program. Now they turn to there defense to see if they can find a winner for there 3-4 OLB spot to develop behind Vrabel.

8. Baltimore Ravens- CB Leodis McKlevin Troy

Ravens jump on the best corner on the board to help there aging unit.

9. Cincinnatti Bengals- DT Glenn Dorsey LSU

Bengals end the Dorsey slide and come up with a great value pick if healthy. I wouldnt rule out the Saints trading up with the Pats in order to secure him though.

10. New Orleans Saints- CB Mike Jenkins South Florida

The Saints need to grab a corner no matter what in this draft because there depth is just horrendous. Now if Samuels where to sign then Rivers is a no brainer in this spot.

11. Buffalo Bills- OLB Keith Rivers USC

Bills need a tall wideout but I think that can wait till later. What they really need is a playmaking OLB and Rivers would fit in perfectly.

12. Denver Broncos- MLB Dan Connor Penn State

Looks like the Broncos are going via trade to solve there DT problems so that leaves linebacker has a glaring need. Connor would allow them to move Williams to the outisde and give them a solid core once again.

13. Carolina Panthers- RB Rashard Mendenhall Illinois

I like where Scott was going with this pick. Panthers dont have too many glaring holes and I view DeAngelo as more of a scat back. John Fox likes power runners and Mendenhall will give him the bruiser that he needs while Williams will be his change of pace back.

14. Chicago Bears- OT Ryan Clady Boise State

Pure LT will allow them to move Tait to the right side and solve there offensive line woes.

15. Detroit Lions- RB James Stewart Oregon

Marinelli wants to bring the power game to Motown and Stewart is a monster.

16. Arizona Cardinals- CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie Tennessee State

Moving Rolle to FS opens the door for a corner in this spot.

17. Minnesota Vikings- DE Philip Merling Clemson

I've never known for Brad Childress to go out and reach for a WR so now with the impending loss of Udeze. DE now becomes top priority.

18. Houston Texans- CB Aquib Talib Kansas

Texans have a need in there entire secondary so grabbing a corner is a must.

19. Philadelphia Eagles- WR DeSean Jackson Cal

Would seem to be the ideal fit in there West Coast offense. Plus he doubles as a return threat and that really needs to be upgraded for them.

20. Tampa Bay Bucs- QB Brian Brohm Louisville

Would seem to me as the ideal fit to run Gruden's West Coast offense.Gruden is always looking at upgrading his QB spot.

21. Washington Redskins- WR James Hardy Indiana

Skins are going to be looking at grabbing a big receiver especially with an offensive mind in Zorny in the fold and the recent released of Lloyd.

22. Dallas Cowboys- RB Felix Jones Arkansas

Jones gets his other Arkanasas alum to team up with Barber.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers- OT Jeff Otah Pittsburgh

Steelers add another massive road grader to keep up with there tradition.

24. Tennesse Titans- WR Limas Sweed Texas

I guess everyone in the world has this pick set in stone.

25. Seattle Seahawks- TE Dustin Keller Purdue

After his stellar combine he showed that he is the class of a very weak TE draft and running a 4.5 probably put him in the 1st round.

26. Jacksonville Jaguars- DE Calais Campbell UM

Jags have a need at end so getting Campbell this late is a blessing for them.

27. San Diego Chargers- FS Kenny Phillips UM

Chargers should have the most dominate secondary in the league for many many years.

28. Dallas Cowboys- WR Malcolm Kelly Oklahoma

Boys get there wideout for the future

29. Green Bay Packers- CB Tracy Porter Indiana

Corner who will learn behind Woodson and Harris. In the mean time will be a very good nickel corner.

30. San Francisco 49ers- DE/OLB Quentin Groves Auburn

He will be a beast for them playing the 3-4 OLB spot.

31. Pats Forfeit

32. New York Giants- FS/CB Reggie Smith Oklahoma

Giants have some major issues in there secondary they are going to have to address.

I will complete a second round later on tonite so stay tuned

33. Miami Dolphins- OG Branden Alberts Virginia

The Al Groh-Parcells tree is in full effect as Alberts gets to join college team mate Long on the Dolphins. This pick makes so much sense because the Phins basically purged there entire offensive line and Alberts is an absolute stud with a lunch pale Parcells type of mentality at the guard spot.

34. St. Louis Rams- OT Chris Williams Vanderbilt

Perfect fit for the Rams to develop behind Pace.

35. Atlanta Falcons- QB Chad Henne Michigan

Falcons did the right thing and waited to grab Henne or Flacco in the 2nd.

36. Oakland Raiders- RB Chris Johnson East Carolina

Al Davis passed on McFadden in the 1st but I think think he can stomach passing on a guy who can run a 4.2 to team up with Fargas.

37. Kansas City Cheifs- OT Gosder Cherilus Boston College

How convenient for them to select Matt Ryan and have his left tackle fall into there laps.

38. New York Jets- OT Carls Nicks Nebraska

This one comes from new O.C. Bill Callahan who knows all about this kid.

39. San Francisco 49ers- OG Chilo Rachal USC

The middle of there offensive line looks like it's going to take a big hit with the loss of Allen and Smiley.

40. Baltimore Ravens- QB Joe Flacco Deleware

Played ball close by and will now compete with Boller and Smith.

41. Cincinatti Bengals- OLB Erin Henderson Maryland

They need to start finding some linebackers to bring into the fold.

42. New Orleans Saints- DT Pat Sims Auburn

He will add some much needed beef to there front line.

43. Buffalo Bills- TE Fred Davis USC

Bills jump on there TE in this spot after securing Rivers in the 1st.

44. Denver Broncos- FS Dajuan Morgan N.C State

They hope to develop this kid behind Lynch.

45. Carolina Panthers- WR Devin Thomas Michigan State

Moose was from Michigan State and now they select Thomas to develop behind him.

46. Chicago Bears- DT Kentwan Balmer North Carolina

Should do well teamed up next to Tommie Harris.

47. Detroit Lions- CB Brandon Flowers Virginia Tech

Should do well playing cover 2.

48. Arizona Cardinals- RB Kevin Smith UCF

Physical back to groom behind Edge.

49. Minnesota Vikings- WR Early Doucett LSU

Speedy playmaker who will should play well in next to Rice or at very least the slot.

50. Atlanta Falcons- DT Red Bryant Texas A&M

Big physical interior guy for new coach Smith.

51. Philadelphia Eagles- CB Justin King Penn State

Who knows what they are going to do in the offseason at corner but they do need depth.

52. Tampa Bay Bucs- WR Lavelle Hawkins Cal

Gruden is looking for a playmaker to develop behind Galloway.

53. Washington Redskins- DE Lawrence Jackson USC

Skins find there end in the second.

54. Cleveland Browns- DT Atbya Rubin Iowa State

Big toilet clogger for the middle of there 3-4.

55. Pittsburgh Steelers- OG Roy Scheuning Oregan State

Steelers continue to add peices to there decimated line.

56. Tennesse Titans- DT Trevor Laws Notre Dame

Will give them someone to put next to Haynesworth.

57. Seattle Seahawks- RB Matt Forte Tulane

Hawks need a back to replace Alexander.

58. Jacksonville Jaguars- WR Andre Caldwell Florida

Great find this late in the 2nd.

59. Miami Dolphins- CB Patrick Lee Auburn

Phins have secondary concerns that need to be solved.

60. Dallas Cowboys- CB Antoine Cason Arizona

He would make a great nickel corner for them

61. Indianapolis Colts- DE Cliff Avril Purdue

Speedy undersized End should fit in well with the Colts.

62. Green Bay Packers- OLB Tavares Gooden Miami

Will give there linebacking core some depth

63. New York Giants- SS Josh Barrett Arizona State

Giants continue to add more pieces to there secondary.

64. New England Patriots- CB Charles Godfrey Iowa

Very flexible player who can play safety and corner.

3rd round

65. Miami Dolphins- TE John Carlson Notre Dame

clady's alright, and i realize im going against common thought around with this statement, but im starting to prefer chris williams to any other OT's other than maybe long....

but you got the position right with a workable player at least for the bears

Cheifs jump on Ryan here based on value and someone to compete with Croyle whom they are down on.

Where have you heard or read that the Chiefs, as an organization, are down on Croyle?

Not the best Chiefs pick.

Mock draft is done guys and for the KC fan I actually got the info from Todd McShay. He said that if Ryan is there the Cheifs would be very tempted to take him because they feel Croyle has regressed. The kid did lose every game he started

I thought long and hard about Dorsey in that spot but Carl Peterson has a track record of doing things like this and that is stuck in my head much like taking Larry Johnson when he still had Priest Holmes in his prime.

The kid did lose every game he started

With an injured and really bad offensive line and no LJ for most of those games, of course he lost every game he started. Look at how our offensive line performed last year. 55 sacks. Our best offensive weapon hurt most of the year.

Saying he regressed when he didn't even get a chance at a healthy and fully competent roster is kind of stupid. Brodie Croyle will surprise some people when we're healthy and when we fix our offensive line and maybe give him another receiving threat. Over-paying for a QB that most of the people on these boards don't even think should be in the top 10 would be a very bad move for the Chiefs.

Do you think so? Does Pace take C Long or Gholston out of the equation completely? I hope not! I don't want him AT ALL then!

You have to think so Bow. There is going to be a huge log jam as it is.
