The end is nigh, but not here yet. Probably a good move for stability, and whatever young safety we get in the draft has a good guy to learn from.

I think this move only makes sense if there are some S prospects in the draft that the team really likes, as Lynch's on-field contribution is likely to be limited. His real value is as a leader and teacher.
