Feel free to post your own Mock Draft here. Or comment on mine.

Ill do one mock every couple weeks comming up to the draft in April. Here is my frist Patriots Mock Draft.

1st Round – Vernon Gholston OLB
Gholston is an outstanding athlete and pass rusher. And could replace Colvin

2nd Round – Patrick Lee CB
Solid size at 6’0 200 lbs. Good Athlete. Tough. Good Special Teamer. Add Depth

3rd Round – Tom Zbikowski S
Hard Worker. Leader. Strong. Smart. Playmaker. Could replace Wilson. Also a punt returner.

3rd Round – Kick Barton OT/OG
Good size. Smart. Nasty demeanor. Hard Worker. Great Leader. “Patriot Player”

4th Round – Brad Cottam TE
Fantastic size. Great Blocker. Help in two TE sets. Could replace Brady.

5th Round – J Leman ILB
Not that fast or big, but gets the job done. Over 100 tackles last two years. Reminds me of Teddy.

6th Round – Allan Patrick RB
Top JC standout. Good height. Good speed. Replaced A.P for Oklahoma. 1,000 yards as starter

7th Round – Jamie Silva S
Hometown Star. Productive. 144 tackles 8 interceptions. Lacks Height and Size. Hard Worker

You tabbed 2 of my favorite college guys in Zib and Silva. I don't know about either playing anything but special teams in the NFL. Zib is too stiff and not overly versatile as a safety. He would need back up Rodney, as he is not the coverage kind of safety that needs to play with Rodney. That was Sander's biggest obstacle was becoming stronger in coverage in order to get on to the field. I would love to see him on the squad but I don't see him having the same success once he moves up a level.
