Very good giants draft, Reggie Smith & Erin Henderson.

03-05-2008, 02:45 PM
KC would take one of the DT's then go OL in RD 2

i love the Ravens draft
Packers draft both picks seems REACHES

03-05-2008, 02:54 PM
Like both Jets picks, but would rather have Hardy in the second.

03-05-2008, 03:12 PM
i really dont like the skins passing on albert, balmer, and merling for a WR. skins want a wr that can contribute now. a drafted wr wont do that. if they go for a wr in the draft to develop itll be rd 3 or later. otherwise look for dj hackett or a trade in the next week or so.

03-05-2008, 03:40 PM
Not bad for the Raiders. McFadden's ability as a gamebreaker is a plus even if the Raiders have umpteen RBs on their roster. Considering there are no WRs or NTs worth the pick it's fine. That said, Gholston very well may be targeted as the DE opposite Burgess. And if you have Clady going #5, it wouldn't be too much for the Raiders to take him 1 pick higher at #4 considering they need a LT (Kwame is not going to be their LT).

Good 2nd round pick. With Baker on the board and not having drafted Clady, the young OT out of USC would be an option as well. Or Hardy at WR.

Two solid picks though.

03-05-2008, 03:47 PM
Don't like SD's pick with Smith on the board.

03-05-2008, 04:06 PM
Not a bad pick for Indy, but I think OL is a bigger concern therefore I would rather have OG Chilo Rachal, unless they feel they could get OG Roy Shuening in later rounds then I would be all for this pick.

03-05-2008, 04:07 PM
Great Saints draft!

03-05-2008, 04:30 PM
amazing giants draft

Matthew Jones
03-05-2008, 04:35 PM
No no with McKelvin, man corner in a zone scheme.

03-05-2008, 04:38 PM
1.) Limas Sweed - Great pick
2.) Fred Davis - CB is a larger need for us. I'd rather go with Antoine Cason here.

03-05-2008, 05:33 PM
Steelers: Good first pick...Bad second pick.

Grade: C+

03-05-2008, 05:35 PM
Give the redskins Merling and it will be an A+

03-05-2008, 05:47 PM
with williams gone, im alright with otah though recent thought suggests that mendenhall may actually be the bears pick if williams is gone.

and as for round 2, i dont think i would touch manningham. im really really really thankful you didnt stuck us with someone awful like chad henne but manningham is both rather small and slow...i think id prefer doucet or caldwell who you have going not long after our pick if its WR there

Okay 1st for Baltimore, give us Calais Campbell in the 2nd, really against Brian Brohm to Baltimore. Good Houston pick.

03-05-2008, 06:24 PM
I love the Harvey pick. While the Doucet pick isn't terrible, I don't think WR is a second round need for us anymore, I would rather have Erin Henderson or Curtis Lofton for LB depth, Dre Moore for DT depth or Oniel Cousins for some help on the RT position.

03-05-2008, 07:04 PM
Love the 49ers draft. It's interesting because there are a lot of guys there at the top of the 2nd who might be very good fits... i wonder if SF would try to trade down there a bit and pick up an extra selection on day 2. But within the scope of this mock, I couldn't ask for anything more than Groves and Hardy.

03-05-2008, 07:31 PM
Good Jets draft, but I want Hardy

03-05-2008, 07:44 PM
Great first round pick for the Vikes but they don't really need a WR now in round 2 with the signing of Berrian. If they grab a DE in round 1 then OT, or TE should be the focus in round 2. I Would personally go with Anthony Collins OT Kansas.

03-05-2008, 07:52 PM
Yeah I agree good 9er picks

03-05-2008, 08:29 PM
would rather have smith over cherilus with the SD pick.

03-05-2008, 08:44 PM
Great Rams draft.

03-05-2008, 08:54 PM
I like Rodgers Cromartie but not at 8...especially ahead of Ellis or Dorsey. I can't see us reaching a bit for a guy like DRC when we have outstanding values like Ellis and Dorsey. Brohm in the second is awesome, but Dorsey/Brohm would be incredible.

03-06-2008, 12:19 AM
I very highly doubt that we pass on Flacco even once, but certainly not twice in the 2nd round, or that he falls out of that round anyway.

03-06-2008, 03:38 AM
harvey is a good pick. i think they should also look at albert, groves, and merling in round one. in round two, i love doucet, but with the berrian signing, i think they should look at trevor laws and dre moore or bennett at tight end.

03-06-2008, 03:54 AM
Desean is fine, but King in the 2nd is a poor systematic fit.

03-06-2008, 11:38 AM
Kenny Phillips! Great success!

Andre Caldwell! Not so much!

rivers shouldnt be the broncos pick anymore. Focused a lot on LB in offseason. My bet is on offense.

1. OL (chris williams)
2. WR (Malcom kelly or sweed)
3. RB (Mendenhall)

I would venture to say OL is most likely, but the Broncos are pretty good at picking late round O line and RB. So it's a tough call.

But no more LBs

03-06-2008, 02:25 PM
Not a bad pick for Indy, but I think OL is a bigger concern therefore I would rather have OG Chilo Rachal, unless they feel they could get OG Roy Shuening in later rounds then I would be all for this pick.

Please look at the Colts' draft history before saying things like this.

Nice Colts pick, PLEASE give Avril to ANY other team (I wouldn't mind him at 60 actually).

03-06-2008, 03:08 PM
i dont really see either pick for the patriots

03-06-2008, 03:28 PM
I love those two first picks...a DE and DT addresses our needs immediately I just don't know if Marcus Harrison is a second round pick...

The million - dollar question for the Raiders right now .. do they pass on Gholston for McFadden? Not sure I would but still open to change over the next month and a half or so.

03-07-2008, 02:37 AM
EDIT: double post.

03-07-2008, 02:37 AM
Not a bad Raiders mock just Gholston would be the better pick imo.
