The Jets Sign 13 year veteran FB Tony Richardson

I do not understand how the Jets are able to afford all these FA signings. They have given out so much guarenteed money.

Tony Richardson is a cheap and very good signing for them. IMO one of the best bargains this FA.

They're just cooler than your average team that plays in the Meadowlands.

They need a FB to pave the way for Run DMC next year...

It's only called "Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands" because they're paying homage to the movie "Little Giants". It has nothing to do with the New York Football Giants. Don't kid yourself.

Is Lorenzo Neal still on the market?? I want Dallas to give him a look if the cost is going to be in the same ballpark.

oh okay, the one that came out like 15 years ago, while the giants have been playing for over 75-80 year im sure.

The stadium hasnt been there for 75-80 years, it opened sometime around late 70, its not that old.

Good signing by the Jets, Richardson is still a good FB...maybe Thomas Jones will have a decent season this year....

Great signing if he can stay healthy, which he has trouble with the last couple years with us.

Neal is healthy, only reason he was released by SD is because he asked for it since the offense was phasing FB out. I'm a little surprised at the lack of interest but I heard the Broncos and Bucs were interested.

Tony should still be in KC. Big mistake to let him go and bigger mistake not to resign him. Bleh.

Giants were in Yankee Stadium (Briefly) and the Jets were in Shea. That is why the majority of fans have those two allegiances. History is fun.

It's a shame we couldn't keep him, but I knew we were going in a different direction. Hopefully Tapeh can at least take over half of the role he left.

He's an excellant blocking FB, good signing for the Jets. He's getting up there in age so I'm not sure how much gas he has left in the tank.

It really looks to me as though the Jets are trying to set things for them to draft DMac and have him have a Peterson type rookie year. The Jets would have to be the ideal situation for DMac... Running behind Richardson, D'Brick, Faneca and Mangold. That just screams 1400 yard season.
