I found this exceptionally interesting, especially that the Panthers were even there.

Went to the NFFCG in I think the 2nd year of the club, went to the superbowl in 03 and then to nfccg in 05.

Had to beat wildcard round all three times I think.

Nice to see the Bears representing. The Panthers are a lil misleading seeing how they haven't been around very long.

^ I dunno, the Steelers were terrible up untill the 70's...but they have been consistantly good since then :)

Yeah the Steelers and Niners are historically pretty mediocre franchises. I'd say the Eagles have to be up there too.

^ Hey man no need to sound so negative ;)

Since the AFL/NFL merger, the Steelers have got one of the highest wining precentages in the league :)

One of the best Superbowl percentages.

100% Jets! Next win: 2008-2009 season. Every 40 years. Oh my, that's this season!

I think its close to 12 seasons. 3 playoff appearances leading to one SB appearance and 2 NFCCG appearances is worth of recognition imo.

I for one bet a lot of teams wish every 4 years (on average) they got to a conference championship
