First three picks are fine for the Cowboys. But why in the hell would the Cowboys draft a FB....IN THE 3RD!! That's almost unforgivable. We drafted a FB in Deon Anderson last year in the 5th, so I would like to hear the reasoning for that pick.

03-11-2008, 10:41 PM
To be honest - i was at a loss for that pick

Harvey and Mayo would add much needed talent to our D. Rice is a great pickup in the third and I was considering him for our second rounder. Dizon is overkill. Paris Lenon is going to play either SLB or MLB depending on the position of the new LB we draft. Probably look for a RT prospect there or a CB.

03-11-2008, 10:48 PM
I don't understand why you gave the Jaguars two 3-4 pass rushers when they employ a 4-3 scheme...and Cliff Avril will not go before Calais Campbell...I would take McKelvin before Avril....

Anthony Collins is an ok pick but we have bigger needs than OT...I would take Kendall Langford (who some believe is better than Calais Campbell) before Collins...

and the Jaguars have buffalo's first pick of the third round...titus brown is not a third round talent...

03-11-2008, 10:49 PM
can you explain the bears going OL 3 times in the first 3 rounds?

03-11-2008, 10:53 PM
Good Chargers pick. No way Reggie Smith lasts til the third though.

03-11-2008, 10:57 PM
KC'd take Ellis in RD 1, Collins in RD 2 and if that scenario played out Reggie Smith in RD 3

03-11-2008, 11:36 PM
Awesome 9ers mock that would help us a lot

03-11-2008, 11:41 PM
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Patriots draft hahaa

1. DRC - Intriguing pick, we will see if the pats will take a risk on him
2. Goff - I love this guy, perfect fit in our system
3. Reggie Smith- Love his versatility and is also a great fit in our system
4. Patrick Lee- Very good value in the third round, also a good cb

our defense would instantly be injected with youth, and skilled players as well

are you a pats fan? haaaa

03-11-2008, 11:43 PM
good first round for Oakland.Jordy's a reach in the 2nd.

You gave the Vikings two Safeties after we signed Madieu Williams to a huge contract and have Darren Sharper. We need DE/OT/TE in that order.

03-12-2008, 01:30 AM
Man that draft sucks for the Phins.

03-12-2008, 02:58 AM
You gave the Vikings two Safeties after we signed Madieu Williams to a huge contract and have Darren Sharper. We need DE/OT/TE in that order.

i do not agree. I think we need DE/DT/OT/S/TE/

I do agree that two safeties would not happen in the firste 3. rounds.

I would go with Laws in the 3.

03-12-2008, 04:40 AM
There are better TE prospects available in the third than Craig Stevens(Martellus Bennet, Jermichael Finley, Martin Rucker etc.). Also don't need two S prospects in the first 3 rounds. Erin Henderson would be a steal with the Vikings first 3rd round pick.

03-12-2008, 07:12 AM
I'm trying to figure out why the Panthers would go OT in the 1st and 2nd rounds. I can understand one or the other, but both?

Also, we have the Jets 3rd round pick. It was part of the Kris Jenkins trade.

03-12-2008, 07:17 AM
cherilus is a good pick for the chargers if neither of the safeties are available IMO. But Smith is available i think the chargers should have picked him.

Suprised Desean Jackson slipped to the second round...you a rams fan?

03-12-2008, 07:22 AM
You addressed the Eagles three biggest needs and I like that you did that. Sweed or Kelly would be better picks at WR in the first instead of Hardy though. Barret is an OK pick, but I think this is a little too early for him, but who knows for sure what will happen in the draft, no one. I like the Cousins pick for the Eagles in the third, to be honest you could switch our second and third rounder and it may be a little more accurate, I like it a lot though. Not my favorite, but I would be more than content if this is how the first three rounds worked for the Eagles.

03-12-2008, 11:56 AM
if u give the giants reggie smith in round 2 its an amazing Giants draft

03-12-2008, 11:57 AM
Not the biggest fan of Xavier Adibi but outside of that I like the Packers mock

03-12-2008, 12:09 PM
LOVE the Rams 1st and 2nd round picks we could also draft an O-Lineman in the 3rd round but great draft

Matthew Jones
03-12-2008, 12:11 PM
Nice Patriots draft except for Rodgers-Cromartie. not physical enough for our defense, more of a man corner. I'd go with Keith Rivers there.

03-12-2008, 03:05 PM
Chris Williams over Ryan Clady????? Explain please

Cliff Avril to the Jags????? Jags play a 4-3 and Avril is better suited playing 3-4 OLB in the pros because he is vastly undersized.

Otherwise an improvment from your last mock. I can tell you that I really liked the Devin Thomas to San Fran pick. That is one I could really see happening that I didnt think of in my last mock.

03-12-2008, 03:08 PM
i cant imagine passing on leodis. give us him in rd 1 and the skins draft would be nice. the felton pick might be little of a reach but its intriguing to me.

03-12-2008, 03:18 PM
Thanks for the feedback again - it really helps.

I know you can never please everyone, but with your continued feedback I hope my mock's get better and better for you all.

exact broncos draft another guy has and will say the same thing.

balmer is a reach, especially with clady on the board.

change the RB to OT or DE

03-12-2008, 04:44 PM
I'm not sure the Chiefs pass on Sedrick Ellis if he's there at five, as long as Jake Long is off the board. Jake Long is by far the best tackle prospect, but this draft is deep with tackles, and we can pick up a servicable one in round two.

If he's off the board, Ellis will be the pick there.

03-12-2008, 05:53 PM
Man that draft sucks for the Phins.

do you ever give reasons or do you just go around telling everyone the phins draft sucks and leaves?

I'm ok with the Giants draft. Talib fits a positional need, but I don't like him, personal preference, so it's not a bad pick.

I'm not a fan of zbkowski at all, much rather prefer Reggie Smith there. Tom is more of just a big hitter and not the voer man we need.

Don't know much of our OLB, but it's a good pick. LB in the 3rd is a good time, especially since we're later 3rd.

Nice work, especially like Zuttah going in the 3rd!

Sam Baker Over Calais Campbel... Please No

03-12-2008, 06:53 PM
If Reggie Smith was somehow available in the 2nd we would be all over him.

03-12-2008, 07:47 PM
1.) Mike Jenkins
2.) Fred Davis
3.) Andre Caldwell
I'd be happy with that draft, but I'm not a big fan of Caldwell.

I think I'd like this a little bit better...
1.) Limas Sweed
2.) Fred Davis
3.) Patrick Lee

03-12-2008, 11:27 PM
Really like the Saints 1st and 3rd not big on the second dont think we need a C. Think we would take a FS..

03-15-2008, 08:47 PM
i like that the bears address oline with otah and rachal but they wont do it 3 times. theres no reason too that high. maybe add some depth with late round picks but not again in the 3rd like that
