THis is where we can discuss, who we should go after in free agency, I think we should definatly go after michael lewis, and maybe lavar arrington

If the Colts don't sign Dwight Freeney I think we make a run at him.

They already franchised him

Ah. Didn't see that. Maybe take a shot at Jared Allen?

We are not gonna spend big money on a guy like Arrington with injury history and inconsistent play, especially when we have a 3 year starter pencilled in at his position. We are already pursuing Lewis, however, and there's a good chance that we sign him and convert him to FS to compete with shaky Will Allen.

We will be in the market for some defensive linemen, there's no doubt. We probably won't sign any marquee names, as per usual, but you can fully expect us to sign guys with experience that fit the system and can contribute immediately. Hopefully we can find another Hovan this year, meaning a guy who is coming off some rough times but can play and just needs a chance.

The only linebackers we will probably add will be through the draft.

I'm assuming Juran Bolden won't be back, so adding a nickel corner will be a priority as well.

We might go after some possible starters on the O-line, but I see us sticking with who we have and only adding 1 or 2 young guys to add depth.

We might sign a new fullback, depending on the Alstott/Sowell situation.

Ken Hamlin is a guy who is better than Michael Lewis that we could go after

I like Hamlin a lot at safety. I'd like to see us trade for James Hall, if we can get a good deal (rumor is the Rams are offering a late-round pick).

Pacman is a great player that I'd defintly go after but I wouldn't offer as much as other teams would. He's a better man-man corner than cover 2. We also don't have as much cap space as other teams would, I"d make him a decent offer but wouldn't pay him elite dollars.

Chucky

I think for the right amount of money he would be great, he could also return kicks and punts, ronde would put him in line. I think resigning Buchanon would be better, so we could spend the money elsewhere

Caddy

He is a great player but honestly, how often does a problem player change their attitude and buckle down. If we've learnt anything from the Randy Mosses and Ricky Williams of the world its that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Chucky

he is still youngthough, he is probably worth the risk, he has the potential to be a top 5 CB, unfortunatly he isnt a great cover 2 fit though

It depends if the Titans want to release him or not, because if they're looking for a trade they allegedly want a mid-late round pick for him. If they're asking for a 5th, I could see us taking a gamble on him.

Im not too high on him, but he is better than anything we currently have. Aslong as he's cheap its good.

It sounds like his visit to Tampa Bay went really well, and if the Bucs are willing to shell out enough $$$, he will be a Buccaneer.

I think that it would be a tremendous start to FA, as it would also very likely lead to the releasing/significant restructuring of Yatta.

I dont think so, with Galloway, Hilliard, and Boston, we have enough veteran WR's.

Caddy

If Boston was better than Hilliard he would have made the roster last season. It is just that simple and I don't know how you can argue otherwise.

Hilliard doesn't blow you away with measurables or stats but he gets the job done on the field, particularly 3rd down. Boston on the other hand is a chump. He had 2 good seasons and has done practically nothing ever since.

Boston is not better than Hilliard, but his potential is higher. Boston was one of the best players in the league for one season (although it was on roids)

Boston didnt make the roster last season because we needed to make space for another OL, and Boston hasdnt fully recovered/rehabbed his injury.

I agree with the pick-up being low risk, potential reward

I have no problem adding Plummer, but a 4th rounder for a guy who was likely to be released? I dont know about that one.

I like Justin Griffith, but Napolean Harris not so much.

Griffith is a prototypical west coast offense FB, whilst Harris is just a 1st round bust. But for the purposes of training camp, mightn't be too bad.
