Good Giants draft, id prefer Gooden over Adibi but i really dont know how our staff feels about either. Fluellen is a new pick to me, he really seems like alot of our other pass rushing DTs, so i dont think its a good pick, we need a run stuffing/blocker eater type. And Reggie Smith is great.

Terrible KC draft. Tampa2=no need to draft a CB top 10 nevermind 1st round. Jason Jones is not a good fit for KC at all.

Better draft=
Chris Williams, OT, Vanderbilt
Brandon Flowers, CB, Virginia Tech
Andre Caldwell, WR, Florida

Jordyzzzzzzz nelsonzzzzzzz.

Alright mock, I'd give Godfrey a look in the second though. I like Barrett, but CB is a more pressing need.

Oaklands draft isnt very good. Gholston is the pick in round one.Kelly and Dorsey are both UTs.Dorsey is therefore not needed.

For the Giants, the first two rounds are very good, im very high on adibi personally and smith, assuming he is healthy is a good choice. 3rd round however is questionable. we need more of a big-bodied run stuffer than a pass rusher because we drafted a guy like that 3rd round last year in jay alford

Why would KC take McKelvin with Sedric Ellis on the board

KC's draft would be better if these were the following 3 picks

RD 1. Sedric Ellis
RD 2. Antoine Cason
RD 3. Anthony Collins

Hopefully Manny Wright will be the "run stuffing/blocker eater type" for us.

With that said I would to have Dre Moore in round 2 then Philip Wheeler in round 3. That would be a pretty good draft IMO.

19. Philadelphia Eagles - Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma
50. Philadelphia Eagles - Patrick Lee, CB, Auburn
81. Philadelphia Eagles - Geno Hayes, OLB, Florida St.

Like the Kelly pick. Thank the Lord it's not DeSean Jackson, I've had enough strokes fighting that pick. I could also see Kenny Phillips.

I'm not a big Pat Lee fan. I would much prefer Josh Barrett, Jack Ikegwuonu or Anthony Collins.

Hayes is kind of small. I'd prefer a TE, but I'm cool with Hayes.

I agree with you, but Adibi is a good pick, and Wright really didnt do much last season, at all. If we draft a DT, it should be one that eats up blockers to take away those double teams on our great DE's

decent pats draft but C is not a need in the third round. overall depth at either guard or tackle is really the only need along the o-line for the patriots

We DO NOT need another OLB.
We just signed Kawika Mitchell. We have Mitchell, Posluszny, and Crowell.

What we do need is a CB.
I'd rather go with Patrick Lee in the 2nd

Okay 1st for Baltimore, I'd rather have Sedrick Ellis. Good 2nd.
Good 1st for Houston. Okay 3rd, I'd rather have Ray Rice.

WTF??????????
where the **** did that pick come from
You had me with Dan COnnor, Terrell Thomas and I questioned Ellis a bit, but holy ****, Joe Flacco?

What heck for?
Sorry if i came off rude, that one just suprised me alot

Hmmm I knew that would be the most questionable pick probably of the whole draft. I only had 2 other Qbs drafted so I thought I needed 1 more and I couldn't really figure out where to put him, so I thought the packers needed a new backup, is Craig Nall good enough?

I really didn't even know the chiefs ran a Tampa 2, and I figured your biggest need was a CB other than OT, so I didn't want to reach for one. DT is a possibility in the future though.

Quentin Groves can definitely play DE in the NFL, did you guys switch to a 3-4?

Great Jets mock!
You're the first non-Jet fan I know, who predicts that Dallas-Jet trade... Interesting... But what makes you think they'd make that trade?

Sorry about that. I completely forgot about the Mitchell pickup. Looking back I am actually a little surprised I didn't give you guys a CB.

Not sure it just makes a lot of sense to me. The value adds up very well and I think the jets would be perfectly happy staying at the pick but they are in a bigger need of getting multiple good players not just 1 great player. The cowboys on the other hand have expressed interest in McFadden and might just need 1 more superstar to get them over the hump. I think if he falls to #6 the cowboys might pull the trigger.

Why did you change our pick from Mayo to Cliff Avril?

eaglesalltheway
03-14-2008, 07:10 AM
Not a big fan of the Eagles mock. I do like Kelly, but he is falling down boards a bit right now. Kenny Phillips is the best choice for the Eagles in the first round. In this situation, CB is an alright pick, but OT should be considered as well for the second round. I would change the third to Jordy Nelson for the Eagles. Joe Flacco, end of the third???

I didn't, Avril was always the pick..

Dorsey and Ellis are both likely out of the question right now. Gholston or McFadden in the first.

why to the Jaguars need a TE?

DiG
03-14-2008, 10:06 AM
i think our need at cb is much greater than our need at S though Barrett is very intriguing. I would rather take the chance of him dropping to rd 3 though. but then we couldnt take Jordy which I love.

overall I give it a B+.

Great Vikings mock. The only thing I might change is giving us Joe Flacco with our second third rounder. Other than that it was brilliant.

It was a great Miami draft up until the Ikegwuonu pick. If he wasn't injured I would love it, but in our rebuilding process, I highly doubt Parcells will use a high pick on someone who won't be able to contribute at all until at least the 2009 season.

Flacco wouldn't actually be there with the 2nd 3rd rounder, let alone a 3rd rounder at all.... is that a serious statement?

Ignore Neko. I am hearing rumors from some sites that Flacco is someone the management likes. It would not shock me at all.

I admit I'm going to have to do a better job at getting QBs in it. It's very unrealistic to have just 3 Qbs in the first 3 rounds.

According to his mock Joe Flacco will be there with our second third rounder. Do I think he will be there personally? No. I am just saying that if he is there with our second third rounder we take him. Did you take any time at all to stop and look at his mock before you jumped all over me? Is that a serious statement? Ha. Next time you might want to actually look at why I said what I did rather then jump on all over any statement you deem questionable.
