i dont think it is nessecary for carolina to pick up jones. williams is a good back.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind signing him if he came cheap since it would let us worry more about our lines and other skill positions in the draft.

If he is cheap, then I don't see any harm. Best case scenario we have a great one two punch and he is a short yardage beast. Worst case is he gets injured after fumbling a lot. I wouldn't mind the injury part as long as we aren't paying him a lot or depending too much on him.

Do we really want a part-time runningback that will taunt the other team's best players? From all that I've seen and heard about Kevin Jones, we don't need that type of attitude in the locker room and especially around DeAngelo Williams. Mel Kiper has said that this draft is VERY deep at the runningback position, so much so that a team could find a solid contributor as late as the sixth round. I think that is the better avenue to follow.
