Pretty solid Miami draft, although I would rather have Justin King than Tracy Porter in the 2nd, but the rest looks good.

03-14-2008, 03:34 PM
vikes would take harvey before merling

03-14-2008, 03:40 PM
How on earth do we get Mendenhall in the second?! Don't see the logic there where Stewart gets picked ahead of him despite serious injury concerns. Is there something I'm missing here?

03-14-2008, 03:46 PM
57) Green Bay (from Cleveland)- Thomas DeCoud S
92) Green Bay- Josh Barrett S
What was your thought behind this?

03-14-2008, 03:52 PM
Pretty good first and second round picks for the Eagles, though Barrett or another CB would be the better option in the third round

03-14-2008, 03:58 PM
Calais Campbell- I think he will slip to the second round, but I understand the idea of taking him at #26...he's the best of what's left...

Red Bryant- I don't know if I like him here in the second round, he's more of a third round talent...give us Jared Meyo instead

Tom Zbikowski- a little high here, but ok...we need a strong safety and Zbikowski is nothing special, I would prefer Jamar Adams or Josh Barrett...

Eddie Royal- Speed receiver....and that's about it...but it's a small need none the less....

Decent mock....B-

Pretty good Steelers mock. Interesting pick with the Jerome Simpson in the third. I have been on the Jordy Nelson band wagon all year but after his combine performance the Steelers would be lucky if he fell to them in round two. Back in January I was hoping to snag him in the 4th when he was rated a 7th rounder. Simpson has good speed and I hear monster sized hands. If anyone knows what his hands measured out at I'd be interested in knowing. But he has a nice vertical and room to ad another 10 pounds. Wouldn't mind seeing some tape of him saw a few in You Tube but not enough to get a true evaluation.

DRC isn't a good fit for New England. Not physical enough and we don't really need a top corner since I'm pretty sure we'll already have Law, Hobbs, Webster next year, who are all good fits.

03-14-2008, 04:33 PM
DeSean Jackson (#6) Jeff Otah (#5) Devin Thomas (#11) are all stretches also no way McFadden drops to #15

03-14-2008, 04:41 PM

If te Pats dont get a No1 corner this year, they are gonna be screwed.

03-14-2008, 04:53 PM
you see how it works is the team that wins the super bowl usually picks last and big reach on Gooden in the 1st. He's a 2nd round prospect, maybe 3rd. Justin King is also a reach and i hate the idea of him being on the Giants.

03-14-2008, 05:00 PM
my new mock... fills all needs......

6) New York Jets- DeSean Jackson WR
37) New York Jets- Mario Manningham WR

 Uh huh. Dolphin fan mock draft, horrid horrid Jets picks, draw your own conclusions.

03-14-2008, 05:03 PM
6)New York Jets- DeSean Jackson WR
37)New York Jets- Mario Manningham WR

Can I buy pot from you?

03-14-2008, 05:15 PM
there is no way.... NO WAY D-Mac falls to 15... By the same logic Mendenhall will not fall out of the first.

That just made your draft completely unrealistic.

03-14-2008, 05:17 PM
Nice Bengals mock, I don't want a TE in the 2nd but that's not to say it won't happen so good job.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, for our needs Ellis is a better fit, IMO.

03-14-2008, 05:20 PM
I like Sweed a lot more than Thomas.I'd rather go with him at 11.

Good pick in the 2nd (Brandon Flowers)

Not a good choice for us in the 3rd. We need a receiving threat at TE. Brad Cottam had 1 TD throughout all of college. I'd rather go with Martellus Bennett

03-14-2008, 05:23 PM
Will someone please tell me why all these mocks recently have the Cowboys taking a FB in the 3rd? In the 3RD!! We already drafted Deon Anderson last year, so there is no need. Ridiculous.

And also, if in some magical way DMac does fall that far, Jerry will be salivating.

03-14-2008, 06:16 PM
not impressed with the Giants mock- Gooden is most def not 1st round value, dajuan morgan even tracy porter even omg yes, dan connor is better there.

2nd round give us curtis lofton- thats a total steal

03-14-2008, 06:30 PM
i stopped reading once i seen Darren McFadden RB at 15th overall pick.

03-14-2008, 07:00 PM
What was your thought behind this?
thinking i guess

I love you. You crazy bastard.

03-14-2008, 07:55 PM
Raiders take Sam Baker far before Mendenhall if he's there.

03-14-2008, 08:51 PM
5) Kansas City- Jeff Otah LT

36) Kansas City- Patrick Lee CB

good pick

67)Kansas City- Lavelle Hawkins WR

good pick

03-15-2008, 12:04 AM
The Vikings would take Derrick Harvey over Merling. Also don't like Oniel Cousins in the second with Anthony Collins still on the board.

03-15-2008, 12:43 AM
Gooden is a 2nd/3rd rounder, I'd really like Brandon Flowers there. Justin King is alright, and Langford makes no sense.

We would probably take Curtis Lofton before Justin King and Gooden.

03-15-2008, 01:02 AM
For the Seahawks....

1. I don't see the Seahawks passing on Stewart/Mendenhall, and I especially don't see them passing on those guys only to take a RB in rd. 2. I do like Chris Williams though. Oh, and I REALLY doubt both Stewart and Mendenhall get to pick 25, no way either falls out of rd. 1.

2. I just really am not high on Felix Jones, especailly with Julius Jones on the roster, that's just redundant to me. I'd take Martellus Bennett here, who I don't see getting into rd. 3.

3. Rucker is alright, but I wouldn't be jumping for joy over this pick, he's a little one dimensional for my taste. The way this draft falls, the Seahawks could have Stewart/Mendenhall, Martellus Bennett and Roy Schuening....but instead end up with Williams, Jones and Rucker....

03-15-2008, 01:08 AM
very good Bills mock. while i am against WR in the first, coming out with Flowers in the second and Cottam in the third makes it very worth while. i disagree with the other Bills poster, i really want Cottam even though he didn't do much in college. i hope he lasts till our pick in the third, the Patriots are targeting him.

03-15-2008, 01:34 AM
Colts needs: DE, UT, TE

03-15-2008, 08:34 AM
First, I think the Bengals would be more apt to take Sedrick Ellis than Glenn Dorsey since they are running that hybrid 3-4 system. Ellis gives them more flexibility there as he can play the nose or 3-tech. Secondly, whether it's Dorsey or Ellis, there is no way the Saints will pass on a DT to take a LB. They like Rivers but not more than Dorsey or Ellis. If one of those guys are there, they will snatch him up. Bet on it!

03-15-2008, 10:07 AM
There is no way that the Chiefs pass on both Ellis AND Dorsey when they're there at five. They would take one of them and then a second round offensive lineman like Anthony Collins or Carl Nicks.

03-15-2008, 10:17 AM
Really solid eagles mock

03-15-2008, 10:24 AM
You have the Jets taking 2 WRs! Hahahahhaa

03-15-2008, 11:08 AM
Roy Schuening in the third for the skins and I'd love it.

The Harvey pick is alright, good value I guess. Even though I might want to trade down a few spots if he fell to us. And I love the Hardy pick.

03-15-2008, 11:52 AM
very very nice chargers pick

03-15-2008, 03:03 PM
That would be an absolutely perfect top of the draft for Denver. I doubt that Ellis will fall to #12 though.

03-15-2008, 03:56 PM
Pretty bad TB mock. No way they go with Balmer. He's terrible for their system and doesn't have the more than one year of production that is mandatory for a Bucs 1st rounder with Bruce Allen. Harvey or Talib would be better. In the second round the Bucs would go with Donnie Avery or Eddie Royal over Caldwell. Branch in the third round is okay I guess.

03-15-2008, 10:04 PM
LOL at Jets.

Like vikings fans have stated. Vikings would want Harvey over Merling and I know the Redskins would want Merling over Harvey.

Gregg Williams is gone but Greg Blache has the exact same philosophy and coached why Gregg was here. That is how I know this team won't want a one-way defensive end.

03-15-2008, 11:21 PM
i like nicks and forte to the bears, and zuttah....eh, idk. i guess ill accept it.

but the bears wont take brohm at 14. i gurantee it. his value isnt even close there. guys like flacco will be available a round or so later and that eliminates the need for brohm there

03-16-2008, 03:37 AM
It would be a good 9ers mock if Early Doucet was not their

03-16-2008, 03:41 AM
i'd rather have nicks or dre moore in the 2nd for the niners. aside from that, groves would be awesome in the first
