Dom Barber is a quality individual and could possibly be a special teamer/backup. He would definitely bring a positive locker room presence with him

Wow, I thought Hefney was a 4th round or better lock.

Interesting.

After watching every ASU game this season, I am surprised by Tryon's speed. On the field it looks like every receiver blows by him.

Wow, I thought Hefney was a 4th round or better lock.

Interesting.

Me too...I know his 40 time is bad but he flies on the field and his production has to count for something. I think he'll be a solid Cover 2 CB or FS & special teamer, but he'll never be as good as Bob Sanders, haha.

Scott, since you're doing some S I thought I'd take the opportunity to let you know about one who's not on your board. I sent you an email about him, but I'm not sure how that works so I'll post about him here.

Cincinnati Bearcats' Haruki Nakamura. Here's an interview with him so that hopefully you can learn a little more about him.

He reminds me a lot of a S the Bengals took in the 7th round last season: Chinedum Ndukwe.

What do you think?

Glad to see Hefney's evaluation. He was really good his sophmore and junior year's, but watching him every game this year I could tell he wasn't playing as well. Missed too many tackles, and got ran over too much. If a team gave him a couple of year's to develop I think he could eventually be a borderline starter.

I'm even more interested in Dominique Barber after reading the report.
