eh mediocre giants draft at best..

reggie smith is a great 1st round pick but another safety round 2? eh. i would go for flowers, but there is no way he is going to be a 3rd round pick haha. hes a 1st rounder

wheeler or trevor laws 2nd round is better

decent bears mock, not bad.

i personally prefer chris williams to otah for his versatility and long term LT potential.

felix jones is alright, earl bennett is decent and greco....dont know much about him but some G depth is needed at the very least.

overall, not bad

You have the Giants taking 2 safeties in the first 2 rounds... But I do like Anthony Collins in the 3rd.

And as gmenfan said above, Laws in the 2nd would be better.

Probably the best Cardinals draft I have seen yet, Jenkins could be our 3rd CB and allow us to move Green to NB in our nickel packages and Campbell could rotate in at LDE and either DE spots in the 3-4. Forte reminds me of Edge and he would be a good replacement for him once he retires

What about the cardinals mock where someone had McFadden falling to you guys?

I love the eagles draft. You filled our 3 biggest needs. I would be thrilled if the first 3 rounds went like that.

I don't know how many times I have to say this--the SAINTS WILL NOT PASS ON SEDRICK ELLIS if he is there unless Glenn Dorsey is also there and they are choosing him instead.

i agree it is a toss up between ellis and rivers in my mind - or maybe they snag a quarter back

but i still go with rivers causing pairing rivers vilma will make the saints d monstorous

i mean maybe they snag a cornerback - not a quarterback

Interesting Chiefs draft..

1st round - Kansas City Chiefs - Leodis McKlevin CB Troy

I don't HATE the pick, I just hate the pick as the 5th overall pick. CB is a definite need for us, but I don't think it's as big as say, offensive line. I'd much rather reach for Ryan Clady/Jeff Otah there at 5 than reach for McKelvin. There are going to be some good CBs in the second round.

2nd round - Kansas City Chiefs - Sam Baker OT USC

I don't hate this pick. He is fast, and will be a solid addition to our line. If we were to go OT first round I'd like to see us take a WR or CB here, with a stronger push for a corner.

3rd round - Kansas City Chiefs - Ray Rice RB Rutgers

This is the pick I really don't get. RB is not a big need for us. I'd much rather draft another offensive lineman, WR, or CB.

Overall, I like how you have some different twists to your mock. Good job overall, just not my favorite Chiefs mock. :)

ok Raiders trade down .. no surprise .. but with the Steelers? If we were to trade down so far highly doubt Thomas would be the guy. Considering what's left on the board probably Chris Williams.

Giants 1st- Reggie Smith, i honestly would not want one player before him.

Giants 2nd- Thomas Decoud, well i almost guarantee we'd put Smith at safety, so drafting another safety is not needed. Id go Flowers, Godfrey, Laws, Wheeler in that order for giants.

Giants 3rd
Collins is a mediocre pick, id honestly consider Jeremy Zuttah here before him

Give the Colts DT Dre Moore in the 2nd instead. As for the Titans moving up, they would NEVER move that far up to get Limas Sweed, who could be there at the 24 spot anyways. If they moved that far up, it would be for an elite player like a Glenn Dorsey.

I hate KC's 1st pick.NO WAY KC passes on either Dorsey or Ellis to REACH for McKelvin

Horrible Bills Draft

We DON'T need a small speedy WR, when we already have Lee Evans and Roscoe Parrish!!

in your situation the Bills would either take Ellis, a big WR like Kelly/Thomas or the best CB available NOT JACKSON!!

You obviously didn't study up on the Jets. Biggest needs: OLB, WR, CB, and DL. You don't have them taking any of those positions. I'd be so mad if this happens. Instead:

1.a. Devin Thomas WR (I wouldn't be disappointed)
1.b. Quentin Groves OLB (If we don't get Gholston I want him in the 2nd)
2. Tracy Porter CB (not even in your mock?)
3. Kendall Langford DE (I hope we take him with our 4th)

Dre Moore in the 3rd is good for the Titans, but giving up that much for Sweed is not.

tracey porter goes to green bay with the 25th pick of the second round

regoob2
03-21-2008, 06:59 PM
The bears in that scenario could take Chris Williams, James Hardy, Chad Henne, and Kevin Smith. That would be a much better draft imo.

RaiderNation
03-21-2008, 06:59 PM
raiders dont have that 2nd rounder, traded it for deangleo hall

the trade i dont like that much we fill holes, but staying at 4, we could have gotten either DMAC, Gholston, Dorsey or Ellis

This is a joke mock draft right? The Titans never trade up in the first for one, secondly why would we trade away that much to take a player who has a chance of being there at our original pick anyways?

fed36
03-21-2008, 07:06 PM
I do not think Sweed will be there - I believe Sweed will be the first WR chosed

So why do the Titans HAVE to have Sweed? Is he that much more special than Malcolm Kelly, Desean Jackson, or Manningham?

God overall mock for the Eagles, but Collins would be the better OT for us in the third, but the rest I like.

GREAT skins draft.

Love Albert in the first, LawJack in the second is good also, I'd also take Flowers in the 3rd if he fell that far.

No need for the Bills to draft two WRs
We dont need another small/fast WR. Give us Sweed in the first.
Good pick in Keller.
Give us Brandon Flowers in the 3rd.
