per usual lets get some feedback

enjoy

#1 Dolphins-OT Jake Long, Michigan
This pick is very difficult as it seems as if Chris Long is the quintessential Parcells’ player, yet offensive tackle is simply a bigger need. The other reasoning behind the pick is that if the Dolphins want to win the quickest they can, they need to help out John Beck as much as possible.

#2 Rams-DE Chris Long, Virginia
This seems like a lock if Chris Long does not go number one. The Rams need a pass rusher and someone to team with last year’s pick Adam Carriker. Chris Long had 14 sacks in a 3-4 defense last year so it will be interesting to see how he does in a 4-3.

#3 Falcons-QB Matt Ryan, BC
Another tough pick as there is no clear indication the Falcons want Matt Ryan but with Jake Long off the board the choices are narrowed down. Despite their need for a defensive tackle, I think the Falcons will use their first choice to completely move away from Michael Vick.

#4 Raiders-DT Sedrick Ellis, USC
The Raiders could simply draft McFadden but they have a bigger need on the defensive line. Tommy Kelly might play end or tackle, but even at tackle the Raiders need help at the position due to the retirement of Warren Sapp. Al Davis also loves USC alumni.

#5 Chiefs-OT Jeff Otah, Pitt
It seems the Chiefs will come away from the first round with an offensive lineman and apparently they prefer Otah to Clady.

#6 Jets-DE/OLB Vernon Gholston, OSU
I think that even if McFadden is on the board, Gholston is the Jets’ man. The Jets’ defense was horrendous last season and Gholston is the type of athlete who can turn it around simply by adding a pass rush. People will claim McFadden could run the Jets into the wild card because Adrian Peterson almost did so, but not everybody is Adrian Peterson.

#7 Patriots (F/SF)-RB Darren McFadden, Arkansas
If McFadden is on the board here it will make it easier for the Patriots to trade out of this pick which is what I’m sure they would like to do. However I do not think Belichick can resist drafting the draft’s best player and pissing off the entire league yet again.

#8 Ravens-CB Leodis McKelvin, Troy
The Ravens corners are old and only getting older, while the depth is non-existent. McKelvin can be a top cover guy once McAllister and Rolle step down, while also helping out on returns.

#9 Bengals-DT Glenn Dorsey, LSU
Dorsey falls because of knee scares but I do not think the Bengals will pass on him. The Bengals get what most used to consider the draft’s best senior prospect down at number 9, what a bargain.

#10 Saints-OLB Keith Rivers, USC
The Vilma trade took care of the whole at middle linebacker but the Saints still need one for the outside. Rivers is the best linebacker in this class and a legitimate top ten pick, which makes this pick add up from all angles.

#11 Bills-WR Limas Sweed, Texas
The Bills need a big receiver to compliment Lee Evans and I think Sweed’s workouts have helped his stock more so than what is being led on. Sweed is a fluid athlete who is exactly what the Bills are looking for who seems to be recovered from his wrist injury.

#12 Broncos-WR DeSean Jackson, Cal
It pains me not to put an offensive tackle here, but with the release of Walker and the fact that Jackson is the perfect compliment to Marshall, and he can help with returns, I think he gets the slight nod here given the depth at tackle in this class.

#13 Panthers-OT Ryan Clady, Boise St
This is exactly who the Panthers are praying falls to them and considering moving up for. Perfect fit as it allows Gross to stay at right tackle and Wharton to guard.

#14 Bears-RB Rashard Mendenhall, Illinois
The Bears have many offensive needs but people overlook that they need a running back. They have the wrong Adrian Peterson, I do not understand why they still believe in Cedric Benson, and Mendenhall played college ball at Illinois and can immediately give the offense a spark.

#15 Lions-RB Jonathan Stewart, Oregon
I don’t care about Stewart’s toe surgery and it seems like neither do most scouts. He should be fine by season and the fact is he is simply a great talent. Millen needs a new running back.

#16 Cardinals-CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Tenn St
The Cardinals are desperate for a corner, and Rodgers-Cromartie could go higher than this. Rodgers-Cromartie is a ballhawk that could take it back to the house any time he picks one off, and has fantastic upside.

#17 Vikings-DE Derrick Harvey, Florida
The Vikings are in need for someone to rush the passer, and that was before the news about Udeze. Harvey is said to be a better prospect that Jarvis Moss and Jarvis Moss was drafted #17 last year.

#18 Texans-OT Chris Williams, Vanderbilt
The Texans from day one have needed a franchise tackle, and they finally use a first round pick to get one. Chris Williams is a top twenty pick and finally fills a huge void this team has had since it became a franchise.

#19 Eagles-WR Malcolm Kelly, Oklahoma
The Eagles need a big receiver, and McNabb wants another playmaker. Draft Kelly, a big receiver, will allow Curtis to move back to his natural position coming out of the slot, seems like a great fit.

#20 Buccaneers-CB Mike Jenkins, USF
The Buccaneers are very thin at corner and need a youth injection. Jenkins, a Florida prospect, has all the tools you look for in a corner and would instantly provide depth.

#21 Redskins-WR Devin Thomas, Michigan St
What the Redskins need more than anything is a big playmaking receiver to compliment the little guys they have running around. They could still go after Chad Johnson but that remains to be seen, Devin Thomas in the mean time has shot up boards thanks to good workouts.

#22 Cowboys (F/CLE)-CB Aqib Talib, Kansas
The biggest priority for the Cowboys this off-season should be acquiring a cornerback. Talib is a steal with this pick, as he should go much higher.

#23 Steelers-WR James Hardy, Indiana
Ben Roethlisberger himself has asked for a big receiver to throw to and whatever your 108 million dollar quarterback wants, gets. Hardy fits the bill and would fit in well with Ward and Holmes.

#24 Titans-DE Phillip Merling, Clemson
The Titans need receivers but none match the value of this pick turning their attention to another position. Merling is a bit of a steal here as he slides down due to his recent injury.

#25 Seahawks-OG Branden Albert, Virginia
The Seahawks have a need at guard where theirs failed to open up wholes for the running backs this season. How are Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett going to be effective with bad line play?

#26 Jaguars-DE Lawrence Jackson, USC
The Jaguars have a big need at defensive end and Jackson is not the flashiest in this class, but he is well rounded and has good upside.

#27 Chargers-S Kenny Phillips, Miami
The Chargers do not have many holes but they could use someone to play along side Eric Weddle, and Phillips is another steal this late. I expect this pick to be traded since San Diego does not pick again until round five.

#28 Cowboys-RB Felix Jones, Arkansas
With Julius Jones gone someone needs to play lightening to Barber’s thunder. Felix Jones already has experience playing a second fiddle role to be utilized bouncing runs outside, and Jerry Jones went to Arkansas.

#29 49ers (F/IND)-OT Gosder Cherilus, BC
Joe Staley is going to move to left tackle, but the 49ers offensive line is horrendous. Adding Cherilus, a prototypical right tackle, will be a step in the right direction.

#30 Packers-CB/S Reggie Smith, Oklahoma
The Packers have a need at both corner and safety and Smith’s versatility and value make him the perfect fit for the Packers here.

#31 Giants-OLB Dan Connor, Penn St
The Giants cut both of their starting outside linebackers this off-season and I know Giant fans hate this pick but I am still projecting it.

#32 Dolphins-CB Antoine Cason, Arizona
The Dolphins need a top cover guy.

#33 Rams-OT Carl Nicks, Nebraska
Pace has gone down two straight seasons now.

#34 Falcons (F/OAK)-DT Kentwan Balmer, UNC
The Falcons are bare at defensive tackle.

#35 Chiefs-CB Tracy Porter, Indiana
Law is gone and Surtain is getting old, with no depth behind him

#36 Jets-ILB Jerod Mayo, Tenn
They traded away Vilma and Mayo is great value here

#37 Falcons-OT Sam Baker, USC
The Falcons are bare at offensive tackle

#38 Ravens-QB Brian Brohm, Louisville
The Ravens get a steal here and their quarterback of the future

#39 49ers-WR Early Doucet, LSU
They coached this guy at the senior bowl and Martz will probably like him

#40 Saints-DT Dre Moore, Maryland
There is a gaping hole in the middle of the Saints defense that Moore can clog

#41 Bills-TE Dustin Keller, Purdue
Young quarterback? Give him a safety valve to throw to

#42 Broncos-DT Pat Sims, Auburn
The Broncos run defense was simply horrific this past year

#43 Panthers-DT Trevor Laws, ND
Trading away Jenkins creates a need for a DT

#44 Bears-QB Joe Flacco, Delaware
Grossman sucks, period, Flacco can throw through the wind in Chicago

#45 Lions-ILB Curtis Lofton, Oklahoma
The Lions need a real middle linebacker and Lofton is good value here

#46 Bengals-OLB Erin Henderson, Maryland
The Bengals signed people off the streets to play linebacker for them this year

#47 Vikings-TE Fred Davis, USC
Young quarterback? Give him a safety valve to throw to

#48 Falcons (F/HOU)-OT Heath Benedict, Newberry
The Falcons are bare at offensive tackle, and yes they need two

#49 Eagles-CB Patrick Lee, Auburn
The Eagles would like to trade Sheppard and move Brown to safety

#50 Cardinals-DE/OLB Quentin Groves
This is a steal here and perfect for their defense

#51 Redskins-DE Calais Campbell, Miami
Definitely worth the risk here, defensive end is a huge need

#52 Buccaneers-WR Mario Manningham, Michigan
The Buccaneers need a receiver under 36 who can actually play

#53 Steelers-OT Anthony Collins, Kansas
The Steelers have Colon playing left tackle

#54 Titans-WR Andre Caldwell, Florida
The Titans should use their first four picks on receivers

#55 Seahawks-WR Lavelle Hawkins, Cal
Branch is going to miss 2008, Ingram is 35 and Hackett left

#56 Packers (F/CLE)-OT Oniel Cousins, UTEP
Both starting tackles are beginning to get old

#57 Dolphins (F/SD)-ILB Philip Wheeler, Georgia Tech
They cut Thomas and need a new thumper in the middle

#58 Jaguars-S Josh Barrett, Arizona St
Reggie Nelson shores up one spot but the other is still wide open

#59 Colts-OG Chilo Rachal, USC
They lost Scott in free agency and guard was already a need

#60 Packers-TE Martellus Bennett, Texas A&M
Young quarterback? Give him a safety valve to throw to

#61 Cowboys-DT Red Bryant, Texas A&M
The Cowboys have bigger needs, but they traded away Ferguson and this is good value

#62 Patriots-CB Justin King, Penn St
If anyone can get this kid to play to his potential is Belichick

#63 Giants-S DaJuan Morgan, NCST
They have a need at both safety positions

#64 Dolphins-DE/OLB Cliff Avril, Purdue
Taylor won’t play forever so they need a young pass rusher

#65 Rams-CB Terrell Thomas, USC
Rams go defense in this draft and they do have corner issues

#66 Chiefs-DT Marcus Harrison, Arkansas
The Chiefs need just about everything on defense and someone to stuff the run could help

#67 Panthers (F/NYJ)-QB Chad Henne, Michigan
Finally the Panthers get a quarterback of the future

#68 Falcons-CB Charles Godfrey, Iowa
They traded away Hall so now they need a corner

#69 Patriots (F/OAK)-ILB Jonathan Goff, Vanderbilt
I know Belichick doesn’t draft linebackers, but Goff has a high football IQ

#70 49ers-CB Brandon Flowers, Virginia Tech
I think Flowers will drop because of character concerns, but the talent here for the 49ers can’t be passed up

#71 Jaguars (F/BUF)-OG Eric Young, Tennessee
The Jaguars need an upgrade to the interior of their offensive line

#72 Bills (F/BAL)-CB Zack Bowman, Nebraska
The Bills never replaced the over paid Clements

#73 Vikings (F/DEN)-QB Andre Woodson, Kentucky
If Jackson sucks Woodson will already have a year under his belt next season, plus he has too much upside for a 3rd round pick to be passed on here

#74 Panthers-RB Chris Johnson, East Carolina
Foster is gone and they need a better back up

#75 Bears-OT Tony Hills, Texas
The Bears have garbage at offense tackle, end of story

#76 Lions-OLB Xavier Adibi, Virginia Tech
The Lions need an outside linebacker and this is a steal in the 3rd

#77 Bengals-DE Chris Ellis, Virginia Tech
The Bengals desperately need someone to pressure the quarterback

#78 Saints-TE Brad Cottam, Tennessee
Who plays tight end for the Saints? Cottam is an intriguing prospect

#79 Texans-RB Jamaal Charles, Texas
I love Jamaal Charles more than anyone else and to see him go to a zone blocking team makes me so happy, hopefully Houston will get someone offensive lineman worth paying

#80 Eagles-OT Duane Brown, Virginia Tech
The Eagles draft lineman early on and offensive tackle depth is a need

#81 Cardinals-RB Ray Rice, Rutgers
Edge is turning 30 soon and could use an heir apparent

#82 Vikings-DT Athyba Rubin, Iowa St
The Williams are the best set of tackles in the league, but Pat is 36

#83 Buccaneers-QB Josh Johnson, San Diego
The Buccaneers get a real quarterback of the future here, not a stopgap

#84 Redskins-OT John Greco, Toledo
This guy can play four different positions on the line and the Redskins have a need for depth

#85 Titans-DT DeMario Pressely, NCST
Haynesworth is a monster but if he gets hurt again they need insurance

#86 Seahawks-TE Martin Rucker, Missouri
Getting rid of Stevens was a good move, not adequately replacing him, not so much

#87 Lions (F/CLE)-S Tyrell Johnson, Arkansas St
The Lions secondary is awful and they need all the help they can get

#88 Steelers-RB Matt Forte, Tulane
The big running back to compliment Parker that Pitt has been looking for

#89 Jaguars-DT Frank Okam, Texas
Trading Stroud created a need for a defensive tackle

#90 Bears (F/SD)-OT Kirk Barton, OSU
The Bears have garbage at offensive tackle

#91 Packers-QB Eric Ainge, Tennessee
The Packers need a quality backup for Rodgers

#92 Cowboys-WR Jordy Nelson, Kansas St
Owens and Glenn are both not getting any younger

#93 Colts-DE Jason Jones, Eastern Michigan
Freeney’s injury exposed their lack of depth

#94 Patriots-OT Barry Richardson, Clemson
A huge tackle to man the right side of the line, if they can fire him up

#95 Giants-CB Terrence Wheatley, Colorado
Madison and McQuarters are about to apply for AARP memberships

#96 Dolphins-DE Kendall Langford, Hampton
Defensive end that can fit a 3-4 scheme

#97 Rams-WR Eddie Royal, Virginia Tech
What they have behind Holt and Bennett?

#98 Jets-WR Paul Hubbard, Wisconsin
The Jets need a big guy to compliment their little receivers

#99 Falcons-TE Kellen Davis, Michigan St
Young quarterback? Give him a safety valve to throw to, oh and they released Crumpler

#100 Raiders-DE Brian Johnson, Gardner-Webb
The Raiders desperately need someone else that can sack the qb besides Burgess

#101 Chiefs-WR Earl Bennett, Vanderbilt
The Chiefs have nothing, nothing, behind Bowe

#102 Ravens-WR Williams Franklin, Missouri
Mason won’t play forever

#103 49ers-DE/OLB Jeremy Thompson, Wake Forest
They need a pass rusher to lineup opposite Lawson

#104 Broncos-OT Jeremy Zuttah, Rutgers
Quick tackle that can fit in their zone-blocking scheme

#105 Panthers-OLB/MLB Tavares Gooden, Miami
Got rid of Morgan, finally, creating a need for depth

#106 Bears-WR Donnie Avery, Houston
Need to replace the speed receiver they lost in Berrian

#107 Lions-DT Frank Morton, Tulane
Trading away Rogers creates a need for a defensive tackle

#108 Bengals-TE John Carlson, ND
The ones thing the Bengals offense has always been missing

#109 Jets (F/NO)-CB Tyvon Branch, Connecticut
If you have to beat someone with Randy Moss and Wes Welker, get all the corners you can

#110 Bills-C Mike Pollak, Arizona St
The Bills need a center and get the best one in the draft in round four… steal

#111 Eagles-S Craig Steltz, LSU
Dawkins can’t play forever

#112 Cardinals-WR Jerome Simpson, Coastal Carolina
Johnson left via free agency creating a need for a third receiver

#113 Vikings-S Jamar Adams, Michigan
Sharper can’t play forever

#114 Texans-CB Orlando Scandrick, Boise St
The Texans desperately need a corner to stop the Colts

#115 Broncos (F/WAS)-ILB/OLB Beau Bell, UNLV
This will allow D.J. Williams to move back to the outside while fixing a problem on defense

#116 Buccaneers-DT Andre Fluellen, Florida St
The days of Sapp and McFarland are long gone

#117 Seahawks-WR Harry Douglas, Louisville
Branch will miss 2008, Ingram is 35, and Hackett left

#118 Browns-RB Steve Slaton, West Virginia
Some lightening to compliment Jamal Lewis

#119 Steelers-S Quintin Demps, UTEP
Anthony Smith sucks….

#120 Titans-WR Keenan Burton, Kentucky
The Titans should use their first four picks on receivers

#121 Jaguars-RB Kevin Smith, UCF
Fred Taylor can’t play forever and he’s from Florida

#122 Cowboys-OT Geoff Schwartz, Oregon
Flozell Adams is 33 years old

#123 Colts-OLB Geno Hayes, Florida St
The Colts always rely on young fast linebackers in their Cover 2

#124 Packers-DE Chris Harrington, Texas A&M
KGB is 31 and this can be a luxury pick

#125 Patriots-OLB Shawn Crable, Michigan
I know Belichick doesn’t draft linebackers but this is later on and somewhat of a steal

#126 Giants-RB Tashard Choice, Georgia Tech
Ward is gone, Droughns will be cut, so some depth is nice

you know this is pretty much the first mock that i dont grade an F that has us going Dan Connor in the first.

I like all the other guys alot, maybe Choice in the 4th i believe could be used at another position, but i still like all the players (except Connor who I'd replace with Lofton).

I like the first, second and fourth round picks, but I'm not in love with the third.

The Chiefs need just about everything on defense and someone to stuff the run could help

To be honest, we have two needs on defense as it stands. A defensive tackle and cornerback. In this scenario, I'd rather take another CB (you have three going in the next five picks) or Eric Young, but it is a very good mock.

Yet another mock using the BS "Jerry Jones went to Arkansas" excuse, to justify a Felix Jones pick. Give me Cason over Talib everyday. And I'll pass on Jordy. Not a fan of this mock at all.

ThePudge
03-23-2008, 09:24 PM
Cincinnati mock quite unrealistic. TE isn't a need, Ellis has character issues, and Henderson doesn't exactly fit the Zimmer/Fitzgerald mold. Dorsey, obviously, would be a terrific pick.

03-23-2008, 09:25 PM
How is Ward gone? He was resigned.

Also Dan Connor is a horrible pick.

I give you an F for the Giants. You seem to know nothing about them. I would just stop trying.

Baltimore:
1) Leodis McKelvin - Good Pick.
2) Brian Brohm - HATE the pick, IMO he's going to be a bust. I'd rather have Erin Henderson or Dre Moore.
4) Williams Franklin - Not a fan, true Mason can't play forever but we have Mark Clayton & Demetrius Williams. With Tavares Gooden right there, I really don't see the Ravens passing on him and the potential he has, which can easily be brought out by Ray Lewis and other fellow Canes.

03-23-2008, 09:29 PM
I doubt the bears would pass on Chris Williams in round 1. Flacco is good value I guess. Forte and Barton would be good 3rd round picks. OT, QB, RB, OG/OT. I'd be happy with this draft.

03-23-2008, 09:32 PM
Houston:
1) Chris Williams - Good Pick.
3) Jamal Charles - Good Pick.
4) Orlando Scandrick - Okay Pick, but I'd prefer a different corner like Trae Williams or Chevis Jackson.

Not the Best Bills Mock I've See for the following reasons:

1) Sweed - Excellent Pick
2) Despite Keller's Recent Climb I still feel he's not the best TE
3) So Many Better CB's than Bowman
4) Pollak - Solid Pick

Good draft for the Bills

BeerBaron
03-23-2008, 09:36 PM
alright, let me start off by saying that, while this isnt the worst bears draft ive seen, your explanations just arent that good......

with chris williams on the board at pick 14, the bears would take chris williams. OT is by far the bears biggest need.....as you sort of very bluntly put it in their 3rd rounder explainations.....

mendenhall is only the backup pick if williams isnt there at this point. RB depth is great in this draft so they can wait, that means that chris williams would be the pick in that spot because he can immediatley help out at either tackle spot or even LG.

in round 2, since you didnt have them going OT in 1, they HAVE to take an OT here. if they wait until the 2nd round to grab an OT, it will probably be one who is a RT only kind of guy. maybe with some development left side......theres just no way the bears dont address OT with at least one of thier first 2 picks.

then the third. picking up some developmental tackles really doesnt help them out at all right away. the bears still have a great defense and are only one year removed from playing in the superbowl.

as you had the picks falling, here is what i strongly believe the bears would do:

1-Chris Williams
2-Joe Flacco
3a-Jamal Charles/Matt Forte
3b-Earl Bennett/Jordy/Jerome Simpson/a receiver
4-DT/S

^^^makes much more sense to anyone who follows the bears

Although I agree with your assessment that the Redskins three biggest needs are DE, WR, OG/OT, I still would have rather the skins picks went like this instead...

1) Phillip Merling
2) Chilo Rachal
3) Earl Bennett

Agreed. Plus in one of the explanations it says we lost both of our starting LB's which is not true. Torbor was not the Giants starting SLB. He was a reserve who mostly played special teams and filled in for Kiwanuka when he got hurt.

good packers draft
if smith is still there in round one wow that would be great
really like cousins in round two, underrated guy, good depth
bennett, meh keller is still around, so is kellen davis, but thats a matter of opinion, good place to get a TE
Ainge would fit the offense well and would be a really good backup
4th round yes DE depth is needed but maybe another CB or LB to take here, though once again hard to complain

Pretty solid phins mock, not my favorite 1st rounder, but I could live with it. Also, Langford isn't a bad player but our DE's aren't even close to being one of our top needs now so I would much rather have TE John Carlson there in the 4th instead in that situation.

Yatta!
03-24-2008, 05:11 AM
Great Packers mock! You got the needs exactly right, I love the first 2 rounds but I might have chosen different players in the 3rd and 4th. Still fantastic mock.

Terrible Steelers mock!

- Albert>Hardy
- Colon is not playing LT, he is a RT/OG
- The Steelers wont draft a RB with Parker, Davenport, Moore and Russell on the roster.
- Anthony Smith doesnt suck

eaglesalltheway
03-24-2008, 07:10 AM
Nice pick for the Eagles, as WR is our biggest need along with WR. Kelly is the second best WR prospect of the Eagles, after Sweed, and would fit this offense well. I still say that Kenny Phillips would be better than eihter of those. In the second round Anthoiny Collins, or another OT prospect, would be better in this situation, but the Eagles are not moving Brown to Safety. If this were the case. they would be doing it already, and wouldn't even be trying to trade Lito Sheppard. Our CB are not deep at all and would not move Brown to Safety, especially if Lito is traded away. The third round pick is good, but Safety will be taken care of in the first three rounds this year, so Tyrell Johnson would be better, but I honestly think Safety could be addressed in the second round as well. Your fourth rounder is OK but I think this is where the Eagles start putting depth at CB, LB or DT, o maybe even a FB.

Connor,IMO(and most Giants fans) is better suited for MLB in the pros(ala Puz). Even Scott has Connor listed as a MLB in his rankings. We don't need a MLB, as we have Antonio Pierce, who is only 28 and doesn't need a replacement just yet. Many say he's losing a step, he's not, he's just over weight and slow...
Our D is based on athleticism and having LB's cover(with us starting Butler, they better be able to do it damn well too). Connor doesn't have fluid hips and is fairly weak at turning and running with TE's and RB's. We have guys play OLB as well. Don't give us "You lost 2 starters from teh Super Bowlzz!"

- Micthell recieved a 1 year "show me" contract and was brought in to provide a leader and compition for then 2nd year pro Gerris Wilkinson. When Wilk got hurt, th job went to Mitchell, and he never played bad enough to lose it. He wanted a fair amount of $$$ and the coaches like Wilk, who happens to be younger, cheaper, under contract, quicker and faster.

- Torbor was never a fit in NY, being more of a 3-4 rush backer. That's why he's a perfect fit in Miami, where he may start. Smart career move by him, as he'd continue to ride the bench in Giants blue. Kiwanuka is the starter for us, and was before his injury. The coaches have said he'll stay at OLB for now and felt he progressed very nicely last year.

rounds 2 and 3 are good. But Ward is gone? o rly? Droughns will be cut? o rly? I'm glad to know you work in the Giants front office

03-24-2008, 07:28 AM
I liked the King, Goff, and Crable picks, but that's a VERY risky draft for the Patriots and I'm not sure they'd take risks on McFadden, King, and Richardson. Definitely not Richardson.

03-24-2008, 09:44 AM
I dont think McFadden will get past the Raiders. Al Davis likes those flashy picks, and with their starter being Justin Fargas, they do need a stud at RB.

As for the Colts, very good picks although I would rather have RB Tashard Choice with our 4th rounder than Hayes. LOVE the Chilo Rachal pick though.

Good overall mock for the Vikes only thing I don't like is that it doesn't adress OT. I rather go with Anthony Collins in the 2nd or even Calais Campbell would be a nice 2nd round pick(even if we do draft harvey in round 1).

Ah.

I like the top six picks and think that's totally the way it can go.

When it comes to the pats pick though, they will trade. and trade that pick with haste.

as far as the bears i don't believe they'll not pick williams if he's on the board.
