SALARY CAP/MONEY INFO!!!!! COACHES MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLAYER STUFF IS BELOW, I STILL SUGGEST PLAYERS TO READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Currently all teams have 25 million bucks of cap space. the limit is 75 million.

CPU Players have a set salary (for FA, releasing and trading reasons, dont try and add your teams players up, it probably wont work)

90+ players- 3 mil a year
80-89- 2mil a year
75-79- 1mil a year
74-79- 500K a year
69 and below- 250K

For example if you trade a CPU Player who has a rating of 91 for a player who has a rating of 88 you will gain 1 million in cap space.

If you release a player with a 72 rating you will gain 500K in cap space.

When sigining FA's you must sign them to the set amount, but can offer small incentives (extra 100,000 if they rush for 1000 yards) Or give reasons for why they should play there (Like if a guy went to Miami and you are Miami's coach then that would be a good reason)

CPU player's contract length is based on their age. If a player is 25,30,35,40, etc, he is up for resigning when the season ends. (Therefore RObinson sheppard who is 25 will need to be resigned at the end of the season) When you resign a CPU prospect you are forced to sign him to a 5 year deal, though you can still cut them and not have to pay a thing. If you sign a FA who is 27 he will be signed for 3 years.

ON TO WHAT PLAYERS SHOULD READ!!!!!

I started a trend in the first ever fantasy game when my QB signed a deal worth like half that of guys drafted in the first round like I was. It gave my team an edge and we won the championship. Then everyone did that. So another game came around and the commish for that game decided that Player prospects should have set salaries. But know there is a reason to have all that moneyzzz and make it rainzzz like pac man jonez. Now if you have money you can buy items. What are these items you ask? Performence enhancers (Both legal and illegal) workout equipment, and playing equipment. These different items will affect your rating, and your rating is important in this game, unlike some early ones.
Right when you sign your first contract you will be given your first year money, if you are cut you lose everything. The money, the items, everything. I know this crosses the line between fantasy and realism, but It never made sense to me to have money in the first place.
You can also make money by winning endorsements, from companies. If your a small-time player you will get small time endorsement offers, if you are a top player will get top endorsements. I will start sending out endorsements tonite.

There will be a hiring process. Neko and I will be acting as the owners for certain teams. After that though, you have control over your team. Some lucky coach is going to have Julio Stone already on his team. ;)

FYI, I will be a coach and a player. I don't want anyone to throw a fit, so this is just explaining it. I'm basically just helping Neko out here. I'm helping him set it up, and do the draft and all that. All of the results are up to him, so I'm not getting any advantages.

ATLDirtyBirds

BTW Neko, we need a new league name. It's not catchy. :P

Anywho, here is a sneak preview. The hiring process will be the same, and the draft process will be similar to the AFFL. Each team though will have 4 "stars" on it. Or people rated 90+. The coaches and players will see this ahead of time. A little bit more realistic, because a big part of being hired will be to have a plan to build around your best players.

And signups should be soon. I would like to see the players see some of the stars of the league though. Some teams are equipped with franchise QBs. Meaning we don't need 10 QB signups.

basically, when you make a coach you will post past jobs and such and say what your philosophy is. Then you will apply to one of the teams. If your philosphy is a good fit for the players they have then you will be hired by them. then you will have to find positional coaches

Miami Hurricanes sounds good, but do you want to rip off the University of Miami? Also, looking in the sign-up thread I'm thinking we should emphasize that only a certain number of players are needed at each position. It looks like nearly half of the sign ups are RBs already.

A bit lower, and he was good and went to Rutgers.

But I think this would be the best choice.

http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/paper168/stills/31d4z3x9.gif

A decent player from Rutgers with a very good sack number for an elite pass rusher. Chris Long had like 13.5 sacks and was tied for fourth in the nation in that catagory.

But I'm guessing your love for Mike Teel does not stretch as far as your love for Rey Rice or Brian Leonard, and that fourteen sacks is too low of a number.

I'd change it. I'd also make him heavier. 225 for a DE/OLB tweener? That massively undersized.

He could be 27 and have 23 sacks. But that is probably too old unless he has been in the league three or more years. He could be 14, for Mike Teel, and have 27 or 23 sacks. Then he would probably be the top pick considering he just hit puberty and probably will add on half a foot and fifty pounds or more by the time he is done.

Here's the ten teams and their 90+ players
Houston: 4-3
Strengths: LB, OL, DT
Weakness: QB, Secondary
MLB: Alonzo Hunter 6’3 251 Age: 25 OVR: 96
Big-time tackler. Not a pass-rush guy, stops the run.
OLB: Westley Jackson 6’2 238 Age: 29 OVR: 92
Another tackler. Fast. WLB. Great in pursuit.
NT: Tommy Odom 6’4 344 Age: 27 OVR: 94
Think a slightly less lazy version of Shaun Rodgers

(Add in a 90+ Kicker)

SS: Quentin Butler 6’2 231 Age: 29 OVR: 92
Think back to when Roy Williams could somewhat cover.

Ocho Cinco. From the talent to the ego.

Miami: 4-3
Strength: QB, DE, WR
Weakness: LB, G
DE: Rashaad Simpson 6’4 255 Age: 28 OVR: 95
Pure pass rusher. A damn good one. Little help in run game. Sack artist.

Think DeAngelo Hall.
QB: Kareem King 6’2 215 Age: 27 OVR: 93
A lot like Mike Vick with improved accuracy.
WR: Julio Stone 6’4 227 Age: 25 OVR: 98
How do you say beast? Kareem’s safety net. All-Pro. Randy Moss esque.

Chicago: 3-4
Strength: D-line, QB, TE
Weakness: RB, WR
NT: Manuel Molina 6’3 342 Age: 25 OVR: 96
Think Vince Wilfork.

Imagine D’Brickashaw Ferguson mastering his potential. Complete force.

OLB: Fabian White 6’2 233 Age: 28 OVR: 94
Classic WLB. Fast and a good playmaker. Troubles shedding blocks.
DE: Dez Dunbar 6’6 276 Age: 29 OVR: 96
Traditional LE. Might not be the sack artist, but he is very complete.
C: Albert Haywood 6’2 305 Age: 26 OVR: 98
Simply dominate at center.
WR: Quincy Dobbs 5’9 185 Age: 25 OVR: 93
Steve Smith esque player. Needs a QB to get him the ball more. Best KR/PR there is.

Seriously though, Stone who plays for Miami and Robinson Sheppard who plays for some team are the highest rated WR's.

Here are the best WRs in the game.

WR: Robinson Sheppard 6’1 197 Age: 25 OVR: 97
Ocho Cinco. From the talent to the ego.

WR: Julio Stone 6’4 227 Age: 24 OVR: 98
How do you say beast? Kareem’s safety net. All-Pro. Randy Moss esque.

WR: Jamaar Jenkins 6’3 235 Age: 28 OVR: 97
Anquan Boldin for sure.

WR: Quincy Dobbs 5’9 185 Age: 25 OVR: 93

Ryan Minister is 6'3" 215, runs a 4.50, put up mid 20 reps on the bench, is productive on special teams on defense, can play SS, FS, CB, LB, and pass rushing DE, wracks up sacks and interceptions, has insane 20 and 10 yard splits with great a great 3 cone and great shuttle. Not to mention he won the Jim Thorpe award last year for best defensive back in the nation, and was first team all-american. Easily the top defensive back, if not defensive player.

Trey Wingo here with USFL Prospect SS Kenny Meriweather, how are you doing today?

KM: I'm good a little tired, just got done doing my workouts, just waiting for the big day

TW: How do you think the scouts are grading you as a prospect?

KM: Simply put I am the best period. God has blessed me with these abilities and I intend to take full advantage of them

TW: A lot of people are concerned about your character issues how do you feel about this?

KM: Well I don't think I will ever forget that day, I have had a long time to think about it and I think that I'm a better person now, I have a 1 year old daughter and she has truly opened my eyes to this world, there is no way im going back to that life style.

TW: Why do you feel the need to taunt your opponents after you lay them out?

KM: What do you mean taunt? I'm just playing football having fun, if I throw up the U it's just to get the crowd involved they love me down here

TW: Some coaches say that you get by on just your natural ability and that you lack a great work ethic, your opinions?

KM: I have been working hard this entire off season and once the Pro Day rolls around you will get to see all of my "natural abilities" in action

TW: Well good talking to ya

KM: Peace.

Name: Alex MacDonald

Age: 20

Height: 6'6

Weight: 260

College: The U

Position: TE

Strengths: Excellent size with long arms and a huge frame...Outstanding athleticism...Has big reliable hands and can pluck the ball away from his body...Real tough, strong and physical...Terrific ball skills and body control...Decent route runner..Above average blocker with the potential to get even better..Probably has a considerable upside.

Weaknesses: Lacks elite timed speed...Not real quick or explosive...Not a vertical threat who will stretch the field...Could stand to bulk up...Needs to get stronger...Is still raw from a technique standpoint...Not very elusive and won't do much after the catch...May still be a tad bit immature...Does he truly love the game and is he dedicated to it?

Bio: Is also an outstanding basketball player who saw action on the hardwood for the Aggies...Actually entered the NBA Draft out of high school before withdrawing his name...Gave up basketball in January 2007 to focus on football..Was underutilized in the Hurricanes run-orientated offense..Talented player with a unique set of physical tools who could be a very good all-around tight end at the next level...The type of prospect who could turn out to be even better in the pros than he was in college.

College Stats: 36 Games Played, 105 Receptions, 1246 Yards, 11.9 Yards Per Catch, 12 TD

Is this just a copied and pasted Martellus Bennett draft file? Not only that but it looks like a Scott Wright type draft report too.
