I'll adapt, no more "No Posts Exist" is a major upgrade in my eyes and the little hubs up above is quite handy as well. If this board doesn't crash, then it's better. I also am a fan of Quick Reply.

This quote thing is harder. What's up with the numbers?
Also, we need to add links back to the forum at the bottom of the page as well. Scrolling up once or twice isn't bad, but every time is annoying.

If quoting is hard then you're not doing it right. Also, use the forum quick jump dropdown menu at the bottom instead of scrolling all the way up.

The admin situation is not settled yet. Basically the same power structure is in place as the old forum, except me and Scott are the only ones with access to the admin control panel. Needless to say, that thing is complicated. Not sure how things will settle. It could stay just me, it could eventually be both of them again, it could be none of us and just Scott. No one's been "demoted", just restricted until everyone knows more.

I agree with you. Maybe I was too used to the old one but this one seems more complicated whereas the old one seemed more streamlined. Maybe after I start using this one a bit I'll grow more accustomed to it but as of right now I dislike it.
I also feel the same as you about rebuilding my post counts. I know you had quite a bit more than I had but I felt that reaching over 4,000 posts was kind of a big thing and now I'm back down to less than 800.

i hope no one is taking this seriously.
roughly 94% of the people who LOVED the old forum, were the most vocal ones in whining about all the problems with it.
it's the same bloody thing at base. you post, it displays your message in that thread. if you don't like the new stuff, don't use the functionality. if you miss the old emoticons, FIND THEM ONLINE. you can, amazingly, ADD them to the list here. just like we could on the old board. i mean, wow, a simple google query got me back http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_roll.gif within 4 results. i know, it's so difficult to do that once or twice while things get added to the new board.
