333 pounds is by no standards healthy.

I'm sure his 6'6" 333 pound build, with all the muscle, wasn't in too bad of shape. But who knows.

I'm sure his 6'6" 333 pound build, with all the muscle, wasn't in too bad of shape. But who knows.

regardless of the amount of muscle... that amount of body mass puts a tremendous strain on the heart, because it has to supply blood throughout the entire body.

if he had a pre existing heart condition, perhaps one that was never diagnosed... he'd be at a much greater risk for heart failure, which seems to be the likely case with a guy this big, no drugs or alcohol or foul play suspected...

When I clicked on this thread, I was hoping it was just some ****** making a stupid-ass thread... but to my fear, it was not a joke thread. Very sad, RIP and condolences to his family.

I just hope there was no foul play because it would be such a shame for him to get his name tarnished with drugs and/or alcohol.

I think its really hard to notice or something. Guys may seem perfectly healthy and in the prime of their lives (Like damien nash) and then this happens.
Im sure we'll hear more after the autopsy.

I'm pretty sure thats how Reggie White died, stop breathing and you just don't start back up again...

I find it hard to believe after having so many doctors check him out at the combine that they didn't find anything which would suggest he was unhealthy.

The strain of carrying 350+ lbs around with you takes its toll. Combine that with the stress of preparing for the NFL draft maybe it just all added up. Sad story, too bad.

This is crazy and sad. It hits home with me since Newberry College is about 15 minutes away from my house and a lot of my friends from high school go there, including a couple of my best friends and basically my entire fantasy football league. Heath probably would've been a 2nd or 3rd round pick too.

a friend of mine from alabama told me about an basketball player in the early 90īs ( highschool or college , i forgot ) he watched live in the stadium . the guy was running forward with the ball and suddenly fold up ... he died on the court. can somebody tell me the name ? and reveal if it could be the same [heart?]error ?

R.I.P to a young a man :(

[EDIT] and what is foul play ?

I think Heath new there was something wrong with him, you dont just instantly die at 25. These things dont scare me at all, you just have to be careful of what you put in your body.
