Didn't feel like looking for the other Entourage thread.
I don't mind watching re-runs of the show but when is the new season starting?

Can't wait til next week when the Canadian gov't might remove our BS protectionist broadcasting regulations...meaning we might get HBO, ESPN, and other channels in Canada!

Its the only reason I have HBO. Everything else just sucks on HBO these days. I really can't remember a better series and I'm a series/sitcom buff. Might be because I am young and would LOVE to live that life.

This is my favorite show, which is saying something because I am a big television fan. I can't wait for new episodes. Heck, I'll even settle for them to release the next DVD with all the Cannes stuff...

I finally found Season 1 on DVD today. Only 20 bucks, heck yea!
I just wish they would give me a date so I have something to look forward to besides the draft.

HBO Series -
1. The Sopranos
2. Six Feet Under
3. Curb Your Enthusiasm
4. Band of Brothers
5. Entourage
6. Oz
7. The Wire
I still need to see Extras, Rome, and Deadwood. Even though I rank it 5 it is behind some of the greatest shows ever made.

pretty weak list if you haven't seen Extras, Deadwood, Rome, & Lucky Louie right there

I hated Lucky Louie. As for Extras, Deadwood and Rome they are on my list. I just got through all 5 seasons of Six Feet Under, Dirty Sexy Money, and I am starting to watch The Riches and The Tudors so I will get to watching the. I do have Rome all ready to watch though so that will probably be my next show.

This is only recently. I am crazy when it comes to watching TV and movies. But as a film student I see it as homework. In usually go through a season of a TV show per week at least.
Forgot to add Sports Night, Freaks and Geeks, and Dexter to the shows I am watching right now.

oo Sports Night. good show but Sorkin went downhill from there and West Wing..
Entourage is a fantastic show but to say it's the best show on HBO is a bit of an overstatement, for many the fine programming they have. more later

Deadwood and Rome are excellent.
Did anybody watch The West Wing? That was a good show. I actually just ordered all seven seasons yesterday since I saw them on sale at Best Buy. I am a bit of a DVD freak...

The 4th season of Entourage was terrible, what a disappointment. Hardly any plot progression (one episode was just who could get laid first Drama or Turtle), dropped story lines (What happened to turtle's GF? She was in 2 episodes then you never saw here again, dropped with no explanations) and a predictable end to the season.

Though I don't agree that it was terrible, like most television shows there was a drop-off from the first couple seasons. I really enjoyed some episodes and hated others from the season but it's still better than most shows on TV so obviously i'll still be watching it. What else is there to do on Sunday nights anyways.

Deadwood kicked ass. So did Rome. The Sopranos. Well, need I say more?
Entourage is damn good too, but I thought the show lost something in Season 3.

I love Entourage, but I agree that the last season was a HUGE drop off from the first ones.... I grew really tired of Billy Walsh really fast.
In Treatment is another in the long line of kick-a** HBO shows. I know that they all use different writers, but the writers for In Treatment & The Sopranos (thinking of Dr. Melfi specifically) really know how to write for mental health professionals.... except the way that Melfi dealt with Tony at the end of their therapeutic "relationship".

Yeah that was inexplicable....I read in the news that Lauren London would be making an appearance as Turtle's love interest and I got excited....but then she just disappeared. The show was funny and enjoyable but the story lines were a major disappointment.

I will never grow tired of Billy Walsh. I do hope that we are done with him for teh time being and he only makes spot appearances here and there, because that is when he is at his best.
