Most descriptions thrown in. I'm no expert, just having some fun.

1) Dolphins - Chris Long, DE/OLB
I think Jason Taylor is on the brink of retiring. Parcells is a defensive minded guy. They need help on both sides of the ball anyway. I really wouldn't be surprised to see them try to trade down for more picks if there's any takers.

2) Rams - Vernon Gholston, DE/OLB
I could be wrong, but I read they were switching to a 3/4, so they pass on Dorsey as he wouldn't be a fit.

3) Falcons - Glenn Dorsey, DT
With all their 2nd round picks, I think they wait on a QB like Flacco or Brohm. Jake Long could go here.

4) Raiders - Darren McFadden, RB
Just like last year, Davis won't be able to pass up on a major offensive pick.

5) Chiefs - Jake Long, OT
They get lucky and the guy they need the most falls to them.

6) Jets - Sedric Ellis, DT/DE?
Jets don't really have much of a D-Line. I'm not positive on this pick but he might work as a 3/4 DE.

7) Patriots - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB
They uh.. don't have any CB's left!

8) Ravens - Matt Ryan, QB
McNair is done.. Boller is a bust. Depends on if they like Troy Smith.

9) Bengals - Keith Rivers, OLB
Kind of a reach, but Ellis is gone and they lost Johnson to the Panthers.

10) Saints - Leodis McKelvin, CB

11) Bills - Malcolm Kelly, WR
Big receiver to compliment of Evans.

12) Broncos - Chris Williams, OT
I think he fits their zone scheme. Need to protect Cutler when last years O-Line play wasn't the greatest.

13) Panthers - Ryan Clady, OT
I've read they are pretty high on him. Wharton is moving to guard, so they need a LT. He also adds some much needed stability to the constantly shifting players on the line.. such as, oh, Wharton moving to guard.

14) Bears - Jeff Otah, OT

15) Lions - Rashard Mendenhall, RB
Why they cut Jones is beyond me. Millen has proven he is inept and thus continues drafting/cutting offensive players. He is probably the best RB behind McFadden.

16) Cardinals - Aqib Talib, CB

17) Derrick Harvey, DE
Signing Berrian helps out the WR corps and Udeze is going to miss the entire '08 season, so they grab a good pass rushing DE.

18) Texans - Kenny Phillips, FS
RB can be addressed later. They've needed a franchise LT forever, but the first rounders are all gone at a top-20 spot. I think DeSean Jackson is a possibility considering they were supposedly high on Ginn Jr. last year.

19) Eagles - Limas Sweed, WR
They can't keep ignoring the WR spot.

20) Buccaneers - DeSean Jackson, WR
Unless Philly drafts him, that is. In which case you could put someone like Sweed or Devin Thomas here.

21) Redskins - Phillip Merling, DE

22) Mike Jenkins, CB
I've seen him go higher in other drafts, so Cowboys snatch him up here to fill a need.

23) Steelers - Branden Albert, OG

24) Titans - Mario Manningham, WR
If he can control the character issues. Devin Thomas may be better long term, but they need help ASAP.

25) Seahawks - Jonathan Stewart, RB
They get lucky to grab the hometown hero. Alexander is washed up and he will be a fine replacement.

26) Jaguars - Calais Campbell, DE

27) Chargers - Reggie Smith, FS
They don't have many glaring needs, but safety is one.

28) Cowboys - Felix Jones, RB
The popular pick. Felix and McFadden becomes Felix and Barber.

29) 49ers - Quentin Groves, DE/OLB
Switch him to OLB to form a speedy little tandem with Lawson. Unfortunately a really low pick for a really bad team.

30) Packers - Antoine Cason, CB

32) Giants - Sam Baker, OT

I am loving Harvey to the Vikings. Nice mock.

I wouldn't hate it because I really like Sam Baker. I also applaud the fact that it is a different approach.

I think another two possibilities are Trevor Laws and Tracy Porter.

You're right, and I think it will be addressed, and Sweed is the best option in this situation.

Matthew Jones

No cornerbacks left? The Patriots have Ellis Hobbs, Brandon Meriweather, Fernando Bryant, Lewis Sanders, Jason Webster, Mike Richardson, Antwain Spann, Tim Mixon, and Willie Andrews. I still like the pick though. :p

Good lions pick, as for your reasoning:

- Jones carried a first-round contract around
- Jones was injured all the time
- Jones didn't run over 700 yards sine is 1100+ yard rookie season

6) Jets - Sedric Ellis, DT/DE?
Jets don't really have much of a D-Line. I'm not positive on this pick but he might work as a 3/4 DE.

If Sedrick Ellis might work as a 3-4 DE, then so might DeWayne Robertson.

11) Bills - Malcolm Kelly, WR
Big receiver to compliment of Evans.

Doesn't Kelly have knee problems?

7) Patriots - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB
They uh.. don't have any CB's left!

Haha. You got that right. The one guy we wanted to leave is the only one who stayed! Good pick, though I'd rather move down a little and take him later if possible.

Swap the Raider and Jet picks and you might be in business.

I love Gholston to the Rams.

The Rams will kind of play a hybrid. Regardless, I like Gholston in their 4-3 as RDE.

Value meets need. Great pick !!!
