Who are your favorite players that are not on your favorite team?

Mine was Sean Tayor, RIP. Imo he was the best saftey in the NFL hand down.

Larry Fitzgerald. Representing the MN.

For pure college homerism, it is AJ Hawk.

Outside of that, I cheer for Jon Kitna, Reggie Wayne, and Marion Barber.

Good, yes. The best, no.

How you can even say "hands down" is beyond me. He could hit like a truck but the guy had issues in coverage. I realize now that he is passed away people tend to overrate him a bit.

Ed Reed and Bob Sanders are both better.

Ed Reed or Antonio Bryant are my favorites not on my team.

This season those coveage issuse were put behind him, correct me if im wrong but he was leading the NFL in INTs before he was shot?

He was far and away the best hitting saftey and he was up there among the elite in coverage in 2007. I'd sure like to know who was better in 07, If he had not died i think he had a way better chance of winning DPOY than Bob Sanders.(which by the way Bob Sanders did not deserve IMO)

So we now measure coverage ability by the number of picks someone gets?

Nnamdi Asomugha, most talented player on our team, kind of like being valedictorian of summer school I know but what can you do? Plus he has a great attitude, I just hope they get a long term deal worked out. I was close to saying JaMarcus because I usually like the QB, but Nnamdi has proven it.

Sean Taylor - 17 career picks
Oshiomogho Atogwe - 12 career picks (played 1 year less)
Ed Reed - 34 career picks (played 2 more years)

Don't get me wrong, Taylor was a stud and was loaded with potential...But Ed Reed is the better player.

Sean Taylor I even tried to buy his jersey a couple of times but with the exchange rate etc couldn't find an affordable one in the colour and size I wanted.

Other than that I have a huge man crush on Eric Weddle and Eli Manning who I was a massive supporter of before the superbowl.

The guy's dead, the point is moot.

Mine is probably Tony Romo, because he is from Wisconsin, I don't know whether that would be considered homerism. Probably is a little bit.

Other players I have a lot of respect for are Adrian Peterson, Jay Cutler, and Eli Manning.

I respect the hell out of Michael Strahan and Osi. I love the way MB3 plays the game. Larry Fitzgerald is a monster. Luis Castillo is awesome. I enjoy Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow II. Andre Johnson might be the most talented WR in the league. I like the nastiness of Marcus McNeil. I will miss Takeo Spikes' intensity. I think Dwayne Bowe is a future star. I will enjoy watching Chris Long (who won't be an Eagle).

Adrian Peterson was a joy to watch last year... except when he played the lions, I kinda hated him when he played the lions.

lol Bob Sanders, what could bob sanders do better than sean taylor?

Taylor was a way bigger playmaker than Sanders is and Taylor is also better at covering. Taylor was a top 3 cover safety in the league before he passed.
