Anyone have any input on Buffalo DE Trevor Scott? He played TE until just before his junior year and then made the shift to end where he flourished. 45 tackles and 9 sacks as a junior, despite never having played DE previously, 46 tackles, 15 TFL and 10 sacks this past year. He was absolutely incredible at his pro day with these numbers:

Height: 6 ft 5 inches
Weight: 256 lbs
40 Yrd Dash: 4.54
20 Yrd Dash: 2.59
10 Yrd Dash: 1.53
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 32
Vertical Jump: 33 1/2
Broad Jump: 09'09"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.19
3-Cone Drill: 6.84

It seems like he could be a nice pass rush specialist in a 4-3 or even an OLB in a 3-4 or 4-3 (he certainly has the speed and agility). Seems like a good guy to keep an eye out for in the later rounds along with Vincent Redd.

Scott played in the Texas vs Nation game so I'm wondering if Sigmund might have something to add.

I think we have clips of him getting owned by Thaddeus Coleman in the texas vs the nation game once or twice. He didn't seem to have the first step explosion, strength, or quick twitch moves to be a factor as a pass rusher in the NFL - although I'll definitely admit those numbers suggest otherwise. He certainly didn't stand out like Eric Foster during the practices or game.

He's similar to Erik Bahktiari - productive, but I'm not sure if it will translate.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah I watched the Texas vs Nation game too and hadn't noticed him but at the time I had no idea who he was either so I probably just ignored him to focus on other guys. But the numbers at his pro day really grabbed my attention. Do you think he's draftable? IMO he's certainly worth a 6th or 7th round flyer but do you think NFL teams see it that way?
