John Anderson, graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, is my favorite followed by Van Pelt

I hate what Kenny Mayne has become. He really is nothing but a running gag that Sportscenter runs out from time to time now.
I really loved Olberman and Dan Patrick.
I really like Rich Eisen too.
Right now my favorites are Scott Van Pelt and John Anderson.

patrick and oberman were classic, I loved those two guys...As of now they have a nice core group, its not just Stuart Scott anymore, Kenny Mayne and Rece davis are pretty original but ill admit Mayne has gotten into some weird stuff instead of just reporting how he used to.
Scott Van Pelt is easily my favorite right now.

Kenny Mayne Is prob my all time favorite.
Scott Van Pelt is pretty good, but he's too damn tall.
Jay Harris is pretty enjoyable to listen to as well, but he's really serious.
John Anderson gets rep for being from the motherland.
My least favorite is Stewart Scott. Crook eye and it's like he always needs to remind me that he's African American(not that there's anything wrong with that of course) when he's announcing.

Van Pelt and Anderson are great.
I love Trey Wingo on NFL Live now.
Trey Wingo is solid. But his go to line "This just in, (Insert Name) is really good", gets real old real fast.

Van Pelt and Anderson are the two best going right now. I think Hickman and Harris are solid. Brian Kenny gets on my nerves at times, didn't like him on ESPNews very much. But I like SVP and Anderson.

I'll go John Anderson then Scott Van Pelt as my favorites now.
I remember the glory days of the mid-90s when they had Patrick, Olberman, Kilbourn, Charley Steiner, and Scott when all he did was yell "BOOYAH" and hadnt yet fully developed many of the annoying traits he has today.

Old school, I think Dan Patrick and Rich Eisen was the best duo. I liked Mayne a little, but not that much, Stuart Scott when he first came up was really, really good. I think Bob Lee was incredibly underrated.
Now, I like Scott Van Pelt, but not a lot else.
Oh, and Tirico is an awesome radio host. Van Pelt contributes to that show, but MT is the man there.

I don't know how old you guys are, but if you witnessed the high water mark of SportsCenter like I did when I was in my teenage years, you would understand that the show has gone way downhill.

i was watching in the 90s and there is no doubt that patrick and olberman were the best, i dont think the show has gone way downhill though just a difference of opinion i guess

I think Olberman was a mediocre anchor in comparison to the 1990's with Patrick, Mayne, Eisen, and Scott in his prime.

The best moment of all time is the Charlie Steiner-Carl Lewis "Francis Scott Off-Key" comment... I could watch that over and over and still laugh
ANd yeah, I'm with you. Ever since Sportscenter has moved away from being highlight-driven to being more about telling stories and talking about off-the-field controversies it's gotten ridiculous.
I mean, we have one of the great times in sports right now, March Madness-NFL Draft-NBA Stretch run-NHL stretch run-MLB starting up. It should be wall to wall highlights. Instead we get more analysis of upcoming games and Ocho Stinko updates.

I HATE Brian Kenny
I'm not sure I feel quite that strongly but he's not one of my faves either. Ever since he was on ESPNEWS and didn't have a clue what state went with what abbreviation (for when viewers e-mailed about stuff).
Current: Stuart Scott is "ridiculous!" I prefer to use "insane" in that way though. Anyway.......
Former: Dan Patrick was great! After he left ESPN, I was pleased to see him writing for Sports Illustrated.

I watched during the Oberman days, and the show has gotten watered down since but I dont think its that bad...It just doesnt divulge in depth in certain issues enough so NFL network can pick up the slack for me, sportscenter is still decent for the average sports fan, it usually leaves the fanatic yearning for more but for average guys who watch sports its usually just enough.
Craig Kilborn!!!!
He was my old favorite.
Right now it has to be Van Pelt or Mayne with his little gimics.

Scott and Mayne. I enjoy watching Steven A. Smith. Van Pelt is SOLID! One of my favorites. I like how Linda Cohn says E-S-P-NNNNNNNN at the end of everything she does.
