what are these for?? appearently we can now give points to each other. I was just wondering what they were for, and why do we have them.

You give someone points for a good post and take points away for a bad post. It basically lets other users know how good of a poster you are.

only you can, by clicking your own little scale, or looking in your user cp. Other people can get the range your points are in by mousing over your dot and reading the description.
