The Packers draft is alright you got some of our needs not exactly who I wanted on all picks but anyways....
91. Green Bay Packers – Jack Ikegwuonu, CB, Wisconsin
After blowing out his knee Ike will be lucky to get drafted. Id take him in round 7 but in round 3 not a chance.

I like the Chiefs draft. Two offensive lineman who will probably come in right away and start, Flowers would be a great addition to our defense and a WR to give us some depth at the position.
I'll take it!

How long is he supposed to be out, because if its only a year, i could still see him in the 4th because a team like the Packers can wait a year just like the bills did on McGahee...and that was the 1st round

Not a bad job with Dallas, not a fan of Talib personally but thats good value, would prefer Cason and I think he's a better fit and will be a better player, but that could be debated, id be ok with Talib on draft day.
Chris Johnson at 28 is perfect, if your including trades Jerry will more then likely trade back to early 2nd and take him there while getting a mid rd pick or 2, but if not I think we go Johnson he' s a perfect fit.
In the 2nd rd I REALLY dont like Manningham and I dont think weve shown him alot of interest either...Granted that is good value for him there, but Id prefer Caldwell, Hawkins, or Avery for our offense, I dont think Manningham is anything special and really dont think we look his way.
The last two picks Collins and Okam are fine except that Okam 4th seems early for him, but if we see something in him that could make him an effective 3-4 NT I could see us taking him there so I wont knock it, we still need a true NT as we dont have one but I just think we would look Red Bryants way before Okam, none the less id be fine with him...Collins is a good value pick and can learn before we see if he has what it takes to start, solid pick...
Overall not a bad mock for dallas, some great picks, a few decent picks, but you were pretty much on with the needs.

Im not a big Manningham fan either but hes apparently good value in the 2nd so I thought that would work...on the pont of Okam i think you are undervalueing and I belive that the 4th is good value for him and plus i think he fits the bill for a 3-4 NT perfectly

He'll definitely get drafted. I agree third is a little to high, but I think he'll go early to mid 5th.

wow that is a stud draft for the Jags...I love it!
Trevor Laws- good pick, I really think he can come in and start right away for th Jags...
Josh Barrett- beast of a man, they say he has Sean Taylor like abilities
Jeremy Thompson- Great value pick...
Duane Brown- great value
Xavier Adibi- steal....

Yea thats basically preference with Okam, dont get me wrong I wouldnt be upset we took him in the 4th, just with him getting so lazy and having his stock go from 1st round to 4th/5th rd area I grow weary, I do believe he has the abilities to be a NT, id just trust Red Bryant more if I had to go with one guy because he's better against the run and isnt billed to be so lazy, Ive seen plenty Okam to know there is going to be good with the bad, but your right he does have what it takes to be a true NT and at that point would be a steal, and we do need somebody to be that guy because Tank Johnson is not.
and your right with manningham, thats alot better then seeing him at 28 so I could live with it at that spot, just think we would take someone who runs routes a little better if we are going someone opposite TO but I dont think anyone would be too upset getting him late 2nd because thats borderline steal if he pans out.

I agree, only problem with the Red Bryant thing is that youd have to trade up on the second or take him in the first, because he goes to the Titan int he 2nd, but i understand why you would want him

Pretty good Pats draft. I like how you thought outside the usual picks for the Pats. Robertson and Rinehart are very interesting picks. I like both of them.

Dont be too surprised if the Colts take Mario Manningham if he fell that far. They will need their #2 WR once Harrison retires which could be soon, making their WR core STILL very good with Wayne, Manningham, Gonzalez, and Clark even after Harrison retires. I like the choice of Tashard Choice in the 4th. I dont know if we go OG that early with players like John Greco still available. I would like a player like DeMario Pressley or Andre Fluellen there in the 3rd instead.

I'll do an analyzation of your entire draft. Used to do these a ton, but I've recently slowed. Here goes nothing.
13. Carolina Panthers – Matt Ryan, QB, BC
I have a hard time seeing Ryan sliding past the Ravens, however I see your reasoning. McKelvin is a big time player and who knows, maybe there's hope for Troy Smith Baltimore. But a good pick here (closer to his true value)
22. Dallas Cowboys (from Cleveland Browns) – Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas
As a Dallas fan I don't like the pick. Talib is not my favorite. However, I can't knock you for that. He's a legitimate contender to be picked at 22.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevor Laws, DT, Notre Dame
This is a stretch, having him this high...
27. San Diego Chargers – Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon
I see why the pick was made, but it still leaves me scratching my head. San Diego has bigger needs. However, they're a team that can go BPA in round one, and that's got to be Stewart.
44. Chicago Bears – Felix Jones, RB, Arkansas
Would he really last this long?
61. Dallas Cowboys – Mario Manningham, WR, Michigan
Once again, as a Dallas fan, this makes me puke. However, it makes sense and it could happen. I'm just sayin...
92. Dallas Cowboys – Anthony Collins, OT, Kansas
I see bigger need elsewhere. Consider a WR here.
Overall, this is very good. The only picks I saw problems were were things that I didn't like but made sense. TONS of picks that just made loads of sense: Jordy Nelson, Ray Rice, Kevin Smith, & Beau Bell just to name a few. Great job.

If you're going to give us Jake Long in the first, Groves has to be the first pick in the 2nd. And while you're at it, John Carlson or Justin King over Early Doucet. Then, if you really want to give us a QB, give us Henne at the top of the third instead of Henderson. Then in the 4th, instead of that garbage Wheatley pick, you can give us Beau Bell.
Now we're talkin! Much better...

I thank you for the compliments, and yah the one pick i loved was Nelson to the Steelers...it just made so much sense at the time
Ive always hated Manningham, and can easily see why you hate him too, but i belive that if he falls to the bottom of the second that its an easy pick
On the Stewart to San Diego, i might be the only one, but this pick makes so much sense...if any team cna afford to go BPA is the Chargers and Stewart can easily replace Turner because the chargers need a steady inside runner, because Tomlinson stayed good because he doesnt have to run inside and no way Sproles can run inside (ever) and therefore keeping Tomlinson rested will keep the Chargers as goos as they are
I would like to not give the Cowboys Talib at 22, but considering Pac-man or not CB is the biggest need and Talib is decent value at 22 and he obviously fills a need

Extremely solid Bucs draft rockio. You definitely addressed the Buccaneers top 3 needs within the first three rounds. I definitely want the Bucs to go WR in the first and whilst I like DeSean the most, I wouldn't be totally disappointed with Thomas. Dre Moore in the 2nd would be freakin' incredible and Chevis in the 3rd is a great fit in our defense. Whilst I don't want the Bucs to draft a QB, Josh Johnson would be a nice fit.

16. Arizona Cardinals – Mike Jenkins, CB, South Florida
Solid and standard.
50. Arizona Cardinals – Cliff Avril, OLB, Purdue
Ditto.
81. Arizona Cardinals – Jamaal Charles, RB, Texas
Trifecta.
116. Arizona Cardinals – Mike Pollack, C, Arizona St.
Now we're talking about something a little different. Nice pick with the local product.
In R2, I'd like to see Josh Barrett stay in AZ and team up with Adrian Wilson to give the biggest and most intimidating safety combo to ever play the game, but that's me. This would be a solid AZ draft with guys they need and that are good value where you have them.
30. Green Bay Packers – Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
My favorite pick.
56. Green Bay Packers (from Cleveland Browns) – Roy Schuening, OG, Oregon St.
From Scott: Weaknesses: Isn't a great athlete...Needs to work on keeping his pad level down...Will have to develop a better hand punch...Struggles in space...He'll play a little out of control at times...Has a difficult time recovering when beat...Is not real quick or explosive.
This does not sound like a guy who is going to compete for a a starting job (which a second round guard should be doing) regardless of his resemblance to Logan Mankins. GB runs the Gibbs ZBS, which emphasizes athleticism and being able to get your pads in front of a defender's thighs in space so that you can cut-block them.60. Green Bay Packers – John Carlson, TE, Notre Dame
Didn't have a great combine, but was being tossed around as the best TE and an R1 pick at one time. Could be a nice complement to Donald Lee and eventually as solid as Franks in the run game.
91. Green Bay Packers – Jack Ikegwuonu, CB, Wisconsin
Tyrell Johnson or Jeremy Zutah would be far better picks, particularly given Cason in R1. I'm fine with Ike as the compensatory 4th pick given his injury.
128. Green Bay Packers – Kenny Iwebema, DE, Iowa
Could be a replacement for Mike Montgomery, but his injuries worry me. He'd bring some more toughness to the DE position though.
135. Green Bay Packers – Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia
Don't like the size. Little guys have a harder time in the cold come November and December (-1 yards for Barry Sanders). Given how GB likes the Big 5 WR package, this kid might be a nice tool on third downs out of the backfield and offer enough of a threat on the draw play to make him of value. I don't favor any RB being selected, but at least he's been productive in college and would offer something as a returner.
A mixed draft for me. Solis picks at R1 CB and TE, two large need areas. A scheme reach at OG. Just a guy at DE. An injured guy at CB. and a midget like Sproles at RB. Outside of Cason and Carlson, I think I like Slaton the most.
Nice job overall with a four rounder.

I'd be pretty discouraged if that's how Oakland's draft played out.
Ellis/Gholston in Rd1, then Crable (should go much higher, IMO) in Rd4 and we're golden.
Yatta!

Nice Green Bay draft. I agree thats too high for Ike but I'd love to have him on the team. Only other thing I'd say is that I'd rather have an O-lineman with some versatility like Cousins/Young/Brown over Schuenning.

Do you like the Pollack pick, i didnt know if the Cardinals really needed a center or not...
I deffinetly like the comments on the packer draft but i was just wondering what wrong with Ewebeme, espcially in the bottom of the third, im my next draft ill make sure to give you zuttah around the 3rd and then ike in the 4th or 5th

Solid Texans mock. I love Branden Albert in the first, and really love Ray Rice in the third, but seeing any WR for the Texans just makes me cringe. The guy won't find his way past the receivers we have, and even the return positions are pretty well taken care of.

I was just going to say the same thing. This is atrocious right here, plus Ted Thompson doesn't take chances on thugs, and this guy has bad character, in addition to being severely injured. We already have a talented CB that can't stay healthy in Will Blackmon.

I hate Jon Gruden getting any picks for the very soft and ineffective offense he "runs".

Good draft for the Niners. If you swapped Langford for Rubin in round 3, I'd actually call it a dream draft...

Absolutely amazing Eagles draft, if the first three rounds went like that, I wouldn't even care how the rest of the rounds went. The first three picks are terrific, and couldn't be better. Kelly stock is wide open now, but come tomorrow, we will find out that this pick would be considered a steal. (I think he is fine, and will go in the first) Nonetheless, amazing pick here for the Eagles in Kelly. Hills is a great value at a position of need for the Eagles, A on that pick. Not big on DE though, but with those first three picks, I would live with it. CB or LB are more likely in the fourth, but Highsmith isn't in our considerations, as he doesn't fit our style of D.

Id have to disagree with that, Williams got picked on every game and held his own and plus he picked off lik 13 passes to boot, including 6 this past year, i like him a lot better than Wheatley

Awful for the Panthers. Fox's job is on the line. They will not take a questionable QB prospect within the first day.
How is a guy who can easily go in the top 10, and is a sure-fire 1st rounder be questionable, hes bad value at #3, 5, and 8 but how can you say he is bad value at #13

for the Steelers, I like Richardson and Nelson if we don't go that way. Even in the 2nd, Porter is solid and another 2nd round corner is possible. But, DE in the first just seems more unlikely to only be a 3rd DE on our team. Not worth the cash.

That understandable, but the play of Brett Kiesel was down last year and you know how much the D-Line hurt when Aaron Smith was out, sure he might be the third DE but they could onl be for the first couple of games
Would you want a Cason or Hardy in the first instead?

What I want and what the Steelers want may be different, haha.
Many guys will probably want Hardy or something, but I just don't see the Steelers going that way. I'd make a bet that Cason or Gosder would end up being the pick if your mock goes that way.

Vikings just signed Frerotte, there's no way they draft a QB. Other than that looks pretty good man.

Round 1 = Good Pick.
Round 2 = Good Pick.
Round 3 = Okay Pick.
Round 4 = Good Pick.

Round 4 = Okay Pick, I think that there are bigger needs though. Xavier Adibi or Ali Highsmith would be better picks.

I am guessing your thoughts are similar to mine for the reasoning behind the picks, but I'll just say that you get my seal of approval for the Vikings draft.
