Interested to see whom everyone is thinking should be the TOP overall pick ? What would you do with the #1 pick if you had it this year (and you were the Dolphins) ? and why ?

Are you asking who we would pick if our team was picking 1 overall or if we were the Dolphins?

If its the Vikings I would take Vernon Gholston.

If its the Dolphins I would take Chris Long.

Reasons for Gholston ??

You can't go wrong with either the Longs or Gholston. Great teams are built in the trenches. (i left Dorsey out only because of injury risks)

Jake Long...No question. Miami might as well be an expansion team. The Jags built their team with T. Boselli early. Stick with what works.

Your pick if you're in the Dolphins situation.

I think Jake Long is too risky for #1 overall. Chris Long seems to have the least questions surrounding him.

Gholston, most upside in the draft. With the right coaching, he could be a MONSTER. He already looks the part for sure.

if im the dolphins its really a toss up between the Longs. Chris Long would make an immediate impact where as Jake Long, being o-line, might not catch on as quick. either way both of them are ridiculous.

I just think he is risky for #1 overall. With the entire draft to pick from, I just wouldn't pick Jake Long.

First, he's not a better prospect than Joe Thomas and he went #3. He isn't athletic or quick enough to be elite, (only above average) which is what a #1 pick should be. Fast edge rushers can blow by him. Would be a beast of a RT though.

I honsetly think the Phins should take Matt Ryan. They need to build there team around a QB.

Chris Long, big-time talent that could make big contributions to the defense immediately.

If I'm the Dolphins I take Chris Long with #1 and with the #32 I take Best Available OT...

If I'm Miami, it's Chris Long and it's not even close.

If it's Miami is Gholston. He can be the new DeMarcus Ware who Parcells coached in Dallas

I'd take Chris Long... Work ethic, athleticism and the versatility... he's a fantastic talent.

I'd take Chris Long because hes the best bet (in my opinion) to be very productive

No one is a better prospect than Joe Thomas in this draft, so what is your point. So that doesn't really qualify as an argument.

With that said If I were the Dolphins I would still take Chris Long, but personally I think they will choose Jake Long. I really think it's a horse a piece, they can't go wrong with either one. Since OT is probably a bigger need, it makes sense for them to go OT.

One of the Longs should work
