"It's up to each and every one of us to turn loose of just some of the greed, the hatred, the envy, and yes, the insecurities, because that is the central mode of control, make us feel pathetic, small, so we'll willingly give up our sovereignty, our liberty, our destiny. We have GOT to realize we're being conditioned on a mass scale. Start challenging this corporate slave state! The 21st Century's gonna be a new century! Not the century of slavery, not the century of lies and issues of no significance, of classism and statism, and all the rest of the modes of control... it's gonna be the age of humankind, standing up for something PURE and something RIGHT! What a bunch of garbage, liberal, Democratic, conservative, Republican, it's all there to control you, two sides of the same coin! Two management teams, bidding for control of the CEO job of Slavery Incorporated! The TRUTH is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of LIES! I'm SICK of it, and I'M NOT GONNA TAKE A BITE OUT OF IT! DO YA GOT ME? Resistance is NOT futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, WE'RE NOT A BUNCH OF UNDERACHIEVERS, WE'RE GONNA STAND UP, AND WE'RE GONNA BE HUMAN BEINGS! WE'RE GONNA GET FIRED UP ABOUT THE REAL THINGS, THE THINGS THAT MATTER - CREATIVITY, AND THE *DYNAMIC* *HUMAN* *SPIRIT* THAT REFUSES TO *SUBMIT*! WELL THAT'S IT, that's all I've got to say. It's in your court now."

Ladies and gentlemen...Thomas Jefferson:
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of liberty."
"There is nothing more unequal, than the equal treatment of unequal people."
"Democracy is 51% of the people taking away the rights of the other 49%."
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
"If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny."
"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."
"I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state."
"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have ... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases."
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies."
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
"That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves."
"No nation was ever drunk when wine was cheap."
"Error of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it."
"When a man assumes a public trust, he should consider himself as public property."
And some Lord of the Rings quotes:
"Forth, and fear no darkness! Arise! Arise, Riders of Theoden! Spear shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered! A sword day... a red day... ere the sun rises! Ride now!... Ride now!... Ride! Ride to ruin and the world's ending! Death! Death! DEATH!" King Theoden
Hold your ground, hold your ground! Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you *stand, Men of the West!*" Aragorn

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

"Those who make a trade out of foretelling the future rarely grow rich. Their attempts to deceive and too easily found out and arouse detestation. And yet it would be necessary to detest them much, much more if they foretold the future correctly. For a man's life would become intolerable, if he knew what was going to happen to him. He would be made aware of future evils, and would suffer their agonies in advance, while he would get no joy of present blessings since he would know how they would end. Ignorance is the necessary condition of human happiness, and it has to be admitted that on the whole mankind observes that condition well. We are almost entirely ignorant of ourselves; absolutely of others. In ignorance, we find our bliss; in illusions, our happiness."

On a more serious side, Teddy Roosevelt has a ton of great quotes:

"Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft."
"Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country."

"Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind, but great actions speak to all mankind."
"If you could kick the person in the pants responsible for most of your trouble, you wouldn't sit for a month."
"The only man who makes no mistakes is the man who never does anything."

In honor of the recent anniversary of his death:
Martin Luther King Jr.
A man who won't die for something is not fit to live.A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.A right delayed is a right denied. An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase. I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. John Donne
No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...Jesus
All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must likewise do to them...Isaac Newton

They're paying me to record this, even more if you hear it. Somebody tell me what you think I should do with the money. Yes, friend tell me what you think I should do with the money. Exactly how much is it gonna cost to free Mumia? What's he gonna do with his freedom? Talk on the radio? Radio programming is just that - a brainwashin' gleamed of purpose. To be honest, some freedom of speech makes me nervous. And you, looking for another martyr in the form of a man, hair like a mane with an outstretched hand. In a roar of hearts, thoughts, reactionary defensiveness and counter intelligence. What exactly is innocence? F*ck it, I do believe in the existence of police brutality. Who do I make checks payable to? A young child stares at a glowing screen transfixed by tales of violence. His teenage father tells him that that's life, not that Barney sh*t. A purple dinosaur that speaks of love, a black man that speaks of blood, which one is keeping it real, son? Who manufactured your steel, son? Hardcore, ancient elements at the earth's core. F*ck it, I'mma keep speaking 'til my throats sore. An emcee told a crowd of hundreds to put their hands in the air. An armed robber stepped to a bank and told everyone to put their hands in the air. A Christian minister gives his benediction while the congregation hold their hands in the air. Love the image of the happy Buddha with his hands in the air. Hands up and feel confused, define tomorrow. Your belief system ain't louder than my car system.

Although this quote was used by Mandela in his inauguration speech, it is not an original quote.

well technically, it is. He changed alot of stuff from the original quote by taking out all references of god. The original quote was written by Marianne Williamson, and refernces God several times. Im not religious, so i like his version better. But i know what you are getting at, he did use someone elses words. And honestly, nelson mandela is the ****.

Anyway no drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles we shouldn't be testing people for drugs, we should test them for ignorance, stupidity, greed and love of power.

Don't do drugs because you'll go to prison and drugs are real expensive in prison

Woods: 19 majors
-: You already picked 19 in the question before, 100 victories or 17 majors?
Woods: 19 majors

"There's no such thing as destiny. There are only different choices. Some choices are easy, some aren't. Those are the really important ones, the ones that define us as people. "
